Route directions

Scenic route: from Edinburgh take the A921 coastal road to Kirkcaldy and the A955 to Lower Largo. Follow the signs towards St Andrews for approximately 4 miles then turn left for Peat Inn at the Stags Head pub, as you enter Largoward village. After approximately 2 miles, the road bends right as it enters Peat Inn village. Drive straight through the village with the Peat Inn Restaurant on your left. The road 'splits' at a small cottage as you go north: fork right, you will see Alba Yurts located on your right. Quickest route: from the Forth Road Bridge, leave the M90 at Junction 3 and follow the A92 to Glenrothes, then take the A914 to Cupar/St Andrews. As you drive out of Cupar, with a park on your right, fork right, joining the B940, over a railway bridge and follow the road to Pitscottie. Go south, over the crossroads and continue for four miles, up the hill to the hamlet of Baldinnie. Keep going up to a straight stretch of road, until you reach a house and cottage on your left after some trees. Turn left (north) here for Strathkinness and follow the road for half a mile reaching Alba Yurts on your right.

St Andrews (less than six miles away): the home of golf and international golfing events, has golfing and putting facilities for all levels of play: The Royal and Ancient Golf Club, The Old Course, The New Course and the Jubilee, Balgove, Castle, Eden, Strathtyrum. Out of town there are many other golf courses such as The Dukes, Kingsbarns, Lundin Links and Fairmont to name but a few.
