Liked: Staff. The park was beautiful of course all park dean are. Swimming etc. the town isn’t that far to drive. S Lovely shops local and pub. Defo something to do for children Toilet and showers are fabulous. Clean park.
Disliked: The early rise from birds. Who goes quiet at 11pm and starts 3.30am. We finally got ear plugs thinking be brilliant. Nope still heard them little. I had to drive 7hrs home so we left day early as was so tired. We did camping, we didn’t know was park dean when booking, but I wouldn’t recommend for couples. Not much there to do unless wanna do kids things.

Liked: Camping facilities clean and modern, free chemical waste disposal, each hard standing pitch had its own water and electric hook up right next to it, electric was no extra cost once there
Disliked: Site old and dated, looking ran down in areas. Not a great deal to do onsite. Had to pay £4 extra for a dog which I’ve never came across before and for the cost there was no benefit for and way of proving so I’m sure many folk won’t have paid for their dogs Also on the topic of dogs there was a dogs must be kept on leads at all times rule which was not governed or enforced and was really annoying as a responsible dog owner to have to be returning fellow campers dogs Also emailed them via their contact camping email that came up on the booking confirmation etc before the stay and still haven’t received a reply weeks later….

Liked: Great facilities, good shower block , washing area for dishes and grey water waste point , also good swimming pool , free softplay , and a great entertainment venue for young kids , with decent kids entertainers
Disliked: Swimming booking system , only so many spaces , but you can go and queue 30 mins before session and if your lucky you might get in 🤦♂️

Liked: The site was your typical holiday park, liked having the entertainment, pub, amusements, pool, choice of activities. Access to the beach but we didn't go due to the weather, but liked how easy it was to go and having it as part of the park.
Disliked: The whole booking and customer service from Parkdeans left bad taste in our mouth. We were told the night before via email, there was an error and there was no pitch for us and they'd have to change the dates, park or just give a refund. We hired the van once we booked this pitch so those options were just not acceptable. I called as soon as I read the email (which is hard to get hold of someone for existing bookings) and only had 20 minutes before they closed. After 20 minutes of being told they couldn't do anything they said they think they found a pitch on the park we could use for the night but they'd call back the next morning. We didn't get the call, I rang them at half 9 and was told they were waiting on the park to confirm. We took the chance to drive up anyway (2.5 hours drive) and got there for 2pm and it was all fine and pitch was there. We got our call back at 4pm saying all is ok and we can head up to our pitch. I've have the 2 stars since the kids enjoyed their holiday as they didn't see the whole carry on leading up to us getting on the pitch. Weather was wet and it was grey and cloudy and damp the whole time, can't control the weather but a lot of mud and grass was being trekked in to the facilities making the floor constantly seem quite dirty.

Liked: Our pitch. Was really handy for the loo which was really helpful for my partner. Would like to request same camping area again however not sure you can do this. Should have spoke to staff before we left. So much going on for kids. They just love it. Entertainment team work their wee socks off as well so big high five for them and reception staff are fab. The guy cleaning the ladies toilets was just lovely, despite one woman complaining that he shouldn't be in there. (She should have cleaned them then) All round great weekend and coming back again end of June
Disliked: Why does nobody make sure they close the toilet door to keep the heat in. What a waste of energy/electricity. A self closing door would be the answer. This is really unthoughtful for the people who are in having a shower. The place ends up freezing.
