What customers say
Great spot with lovely views & helpful staff. Clean facilities, handy for Oban/ferries. Good value for some, others find it pricey for basics. Water quality and pitch issues noted. Some development ongoing.

We left and didn’t stay. …

Liked We left and didn’t stay. We could see lots of marks in the grass where people must have got stuck in the mud and we couldn’t chance it.
Disliked When we spoke to a member of staff about our concerns she said she didn’t blame us for not staying. Rather than reassuring us that if we were to get stuck they would get us out.

In the summer, with better facilities, it will be a great site

Liked The view from the pitch.
Disliked The site is a good way from Oban, not within reasonable walking distance. Local taxis are cheap enough though. There is currently no fresh water available on site, it is fed from a natural spring further up the hillside. Even the water in the showers was green / brown. The motorhome pitches are on grass, and with the recent heavy rain were waterlogged and rutted from previous visitors. We elected to leave early as more rain was forecast.

Liked Really lovely site quiet clean just wish the 6m rule was adhered to we had a van about 6ft away from us not good for health and safety
Disliked Showers need updating and I am sure that is on the agenda

I wouldn't stay here again.

Liked Location. Felt safe on the site.
Disliked Poor site for tourers. The electric sites are all on soft grass, water is not drinkable so you can't fill up, showers need updating, hook ups are on soft standing cut grass on a bit of a slope. Definitely more of a site for a static unit than for tourers.

Limited wifi was a problem as absolute zero signal on the pitches

Liked Pitches near to the toilet facilities . Travelling back into Oban to the nearest place to eat was not the best. Only two showers and quite small. Pleasant location and friendly staff
Disliked Pitches seemed to be quite close together and not hard standing.

Liked Location is stunning! Shop well stocked, felt very safe!
Disliked As others say, you can’t drink the water (or use it to brush your teeth) but take bottles with you. There also are not very many electric points which meant people were unable to spread out across the available space.
