What customers say
This remote spot boasts cracking mountain & valley views. Campers rave about the friendly hosts, clean facilities & communal kitchen. Though some amenities are a bit old-school, it's a ripper overall, with plenty of space & fire pits. Perfect for a peaceful escape, but watch out for those narrow country roads!

Un lloc molt bonic i hi hem passat una molt bona estada!
Power optional grass tent, campervan or trailer tent site

Lovely, well maintained site with good, basic facilities.
Power optional grass tent, campervan or trailer tent site
Liked Nice, uncrowded, level pitches with good views. A nice variety of pitch types for all types of camper. We had a warm welcome on arrival with a good rundown of the facilitites. The owner offered to lend us a reserved sign in case we were going out again in our campervan. The camp kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pans, plates, microwave, kettles and cookers - al available to use as needed. The washing up area was clean and well stocked. Toilets and showers were clean and easily accessibile. Bins for rubbish and recycling were easily accessible. There's a pub about a mile down the road but unfortunately it was closed whilst we were there.
Disliked Nothing

Liked Big site for tents. Very quiet. Remote area. Just beside amazing Healy Pass. Everyone super friendly. Amazing hosts (both older couple). Very friendly, with good ideas on how to make kids busy, and had a solution to every problem we had.
Disliked Facilities could do with a little modernisation. There was large amount of ticks in taller grass and under leaf trees close to facilities (not fun when you have active kids).

From the manager: Thank you for your review and happy you enjoyed your stay with us and hope to see ye again. When you are out close to nature and on grass it is not like being in a five star hotel on thick carpet.
