Daisy Creek

- Small, peaceful site 15 minutes’ drive from the city of Galway
- On the Connemara Loop and Wild Atlantic Way
- Within walking distance of a sandy beach, pub, shop and gym
On the Connemara Loop and the Wild Atlantic Way, Daisy Creek is in a prime spot for touring County Galway.
First and foremost, it’s half an hour’s walk away from the village of Furbogh, where there’s a safe sandy beach for swimming and a path for wandering onto splendid coastal rambles in either direction. A busy gastro pub overlooks the beach and serves excellent food all day. The village also has a hairdresser, church, gym and a petrol station with a shop.
Second, it’s just a 20-minute drive from the city of Galway. Still, it feels far removed due to the lush natural setting. On the edge of Connemara, the site has a gorgeous selection of beaches, coastal walks and eateries (seafood, Indian, traditional, vegetarian, pizza and so on…) just a short drive away.
Between the villages of Bearna (five minutes’ drive) and Spiddal (10 minutes’ drive), there are supermarkets, health food stores, cafés and restaurants, pharmacies, walks and swimming spots.
At Daisy Creek, every pitch comes with a private toilet and a solar-dependent camping shower. Dogs are also welcome.
