What customers say

Myrtle Farm Campsite's spotless, modern facilities and level pitches get a big thumbs up. Staff, especially Diane, are super friendly and helpful. It's a well-kept, quiet spot with a secure dog run. Some noise from the nearby road or M5, but mostly a ripper experience, and most reckon they'll be back!

Local attractions

The Myrtle Farm Holidays setting at the foot of the Mendip Hills has it perfectly placed for outdoorsy days, with a vast pick of walks, cycle routes, fishing and birdwatching within easy distance. By car, Cheddar village and the famed and fab Cheddar Gorge are very close by, as is the teeny city of Wells with its cathedral and independent shops. The National Trust-managed Victorian Gothic house of Tyntesfield is ten miles away. Another cracking option is Glastonbury, with its independent shops and cafés, museums, Glastonbury Abbey and Glastonbury Tor. The golden sandy beaches, seaside shops and wide range of restaurants and bars at Weston-Super-Mare, Brean and Burnham-on-Sea are all within a short drive. You'll also be within easy driving distance of the cities of Bristol and Bath and their shopping, theatres, cinemas, museums, bars and restaurants. Travel a little further to get to Wiltshire, where must-sees include Stonehenge and Longleat.
