What customers say
Friendly staff, clean level pitches, and a top pub with good grub and ales are big hits. Peaceful vibe, handy for exploring. Facilities generally good, a bit dated for some. Pub's a real winner.

Liked It's a nice quiet and adult only site . Staff were very friendly. Toilet and showers very very clean. I highly recommend the takeaway pizza on site .
Disliked The walk from the pitch to the showers and toilets needs extra lighting as it was very dark. Also a dog walking area would be great.

Overall a lovely little campsite.. would stop again.

Liked Easy to get to.. the pitch was fairly level, it didn’t flood as we had torrential rain and thunderstorms during our stay.. the toilets were clean and good.. the Pub was lovely with good food and friendly staff… overall an enjoyable stay..
Disliked The rutted entrance into the site area.. filled with water, a bit difficult to negotiate when going to the toilet block.. but not something to put us off stopping again.

Great site behind a great pub
Powered grass caravan site
Liked Great site. The check in staff were friendly and helpful. We ate at the pub both nights. The food was lovely. Definitely worth booking a table as it was super busy. There is road noise and train noise in the day but it didn’t bother us at night. There is a Greggs and shop around the corner. I don’t think there is WiFi but I can’t deselect the option.
Disliked Nothing
