Liked: Great site, pool Games room bar restaurant etc
Disliked: The taps on the washing up sinks are useless !!! And they need to sort beach access again - this is a major selling point of the site

Liked: Pitches were nice and flat at the top of the touring area. staff very nice and helpful. very quiet site Shower area very good / clean and modern.
Disliked: VIP!! no mention anywhere that the beach access form the site is currently closed due to storm damage, so no access to the beach from the site. the only near alternative is the next holiday camp which you have to pay for parking as its not walkable due to no paths from this site to that site. This was very disappointing and the staff were quite nonchalant about the matter. The site is set up more for the permanent caravan users as there are no bins near to the touring area and the bottom pitches are like a car park.

Liked: Communication was good. Clean side, beautiful location. Of course it would’ve been great if the steps were open, but that’s not the sites fault. Weather is unpredictable. Better safe than sorry.

Liked: Location. One of the best places we've been to for stunning sunsets. Well maintained facilities. Our 2 cats loved watching all of the birds from their playpen.
Disliked: A bit isolated if you want to leave your motorhome on the pitch. A shame that the access to the beach is currently closed due to storm damage.

Liked: Very clean site, all pitches are gravel & grass and level. Toilets and showers are good, along with wash up area with very hot water. Large club house with veranda facing the fabulous views across the bay. Free WiFi at club house. Great place for children, nice play areas, tennis & indoor swimming pool, games room with pool table. Lovely clean site and nice staff. Great for all the groups
Disliked: I was very upset to find the steps to the beach were unusable due to storm damage. The beach is a very long stretch of sand and links up with King Charles 111 coast path. There is no other way down to the beach from this site, except a 4 mile detour to the neighbouring campsite. This is a big distraction to staying on this site, not just for families with children, but for all ages. The beach is such an asset to the site, I would go as far to say essential to a great seaside holiday. I sincerely hope Barkers Leisure can reinstate steps or possibly put in a new path to the beach, which is possible. Hence 4 stars for my review.

From the manager: Thank you for your review, we are equally sad that we have had to close our steps and will try to find a solution as soon as it is safe to do so 😊
