Are you looking for a perfect getaway well look no further. Set on half an acre of land which was originally the old apple orchard are two luxury self contained, ensuite shepherd huts. Both equipped with everything you need to sit back in comfort to enjoy, relax and recharge. Both shepherd huts have heating and a wood burner to keep you cosy and warm during the colder months of the year. All firewood is inclusive as well as a small breakfast pack for your first morning. Tea,Coffee, Hot Chocolate and milk is provided. Collie has a microwave and double ring gas hob, a fridge with top freezer compartment, kettle and toaster. Relax in a comfy king-size double bed and watch your favourite movie from the Smart Tv and wake up the following morning to beautiful views at the foot of your bed. Shetland View comes with a combi oven, double ring gas hob, fridge with top freezer compartment, kettle and toaster. The king-size bed is cleverly hidden in the wall it pulls down over the high quality oak dining table. With your bed already made for you to stretch out and relax for a good nights sleep. Chose which end of the bed to sleep, cosy up and watch a Netflix movie or switch ends to wake up to the morning views of the Somerset Levels the choice is yours. And of course not fogetting during the spring time and summer months your have the company of the minature sheltand ponies quietly grazing in the paddock infront of the shepherd huts to keep you company. Collie and Shetland View look out across the beautiful views of the Somerset Levels. Couples can experience the season of your choice in which you choose to stay. During the Summer you can soaking up the sun whilst in the hot tub jacuzzi and enjoy watching the evening sunset. Cook an evening meal on the bbq and watch the stars listening to the sounds of nature around you. Alternatively during the Winter wake up to a cold frosty morning and enjoy the warmth and cosiness of your shepherd hut with the wood burner glowing providing you with warmth and a romantice break for two. If you can bring yourselves to leave this countryside retreat we are central to the town of Street, Wells Cathedral, Gladstonbury Tor and Glastonbury Abbey. Cheddar Gorge Caves is a 20 minute drive if you are looking for a adventurous day out. Or perhaps you would like to explore the Somerset Levels and higher bikes from the Parret Trail Bikes in Langport and cycle the Orchard Cider Tor. Or you can bring your own bikes which we can safely store for you. We welcome one small well behaved dog at an additional small fee. On occasion we allow up to two small dogs depending on size and breed please enquire. We have beautiful countryside walks to explore. Mellennium Wood 1.6 miles and Turn Hill National Trust 1.3 miles and many more. Local maps of village walks are provided in the welcome folder. Rest assured the area in which both shepherd huts are located are secure with stock fencing all around with a fully grown hedge all around the perimeter. Plenty of garden and space for your dog to run and play. Bere Cider Company is 1 mile offering local ciders an onsite cafe with regular events taking place. You can vist with your dog drive or walk which ever you prefer. Closeby we have The Halfway House, Pitney just 4 miles. In 2023 crowned South west CAMRA Pub of the year. This authentic rustic pub has open fireplaces with slate floors. Real Ales, local ciders and homemade food can be enjoyed in this atmospheric setting. Dogs are welcome in this friendly village pub.
