Nesta Camping is a luxurious haven at Critchill Manor, on the outskirts of Frome, Somerset, with gorgeous cosy yurts that come with a side offering of deep relaxation. There’s even a pamper parlour on site, where you can charge up devices and plug in those all-important hair straighteners. This is the place to shed all cares and simply chill out in wood-fired hot tubs, yoga classes or massages at the wellness studio. One of the founders of Nesta is an experienced holistic teacher and holds daily classes under a canvas canopy, or you might like to delve into the likes of sound journey meditations and ecstatic dance sessions (and there’s plenty more on offer too). Breakfast is served until late at the Bistro and Lounge, so you're welcome to take a well-deserved lie-in. Barista coffee, organic teas and artisan pastries are available all day (plus local ice cream as a treat for kids), and menus using locally sourced, sustainably farmed ingredients change daily. Wines, beers and ciders are on hand at the bar, as well as cocktails created by the in-house mixologist (yes, that’s right) all accompanied by ambient tunes from live musicians. And – best of all – everything can be delivered right to your yurt if you’re too chilled to move. Children are very welcome at this family-run site. Weekend activities like Wild Tribe Forest School, arts and crafts sessions and dance competitions will keep them on their toes – and out of your hair.
