Liked: We've just had a lovely weekend away with family. Two electric pitches side by side as requested. Super friendly staff who checked in regularly without being over bearing. The staff showed us to our pitches which made finding them and setting up easy. You can hire fire pits and buy wood. There was someone driving around in the evenings to check if you needed to buy anymore. Great food, we had breakfast baps one morning and the pizza was absolutely delicious (pre booking made it super easy) shop was basic however there are plenty of shops within walking distance or a few minutes drive. Toilets were regularly being cleaned and we didn't have to queue once (although this was a September holiday so not mid summer etc) didn't use the showers but they looked clean and again, we're regularly being cleaned.
Disliked: The only complaint I had over the whole weekend was the quad bike being driven at quite some speed back and forth regularly on Saturday evening. This was a bit worrying with the kids playing and dogs being walked.

Liked: Friendly staff. Large site, well organised beautiful location, walking paths into cheddar. Cafe open mornings. Facilities cleaned regularly.
Disliked: Showers and toilets rotated. Well signposted re which one were open but difficult in the dark without a head torch. Disliked having to pay a supplement for electricity on a meter that needed to be topped up.

Liked: So relaxed, amazing location and facilities. Great that it's set up with different fields for different needs e.g. all families together, people who want to play music together, a quiet field. Very friendly hosts and super dog friendly!

Liked: Spacious, great showers and toilets, very clean, recycling bins, location, friendly staff , fire pits
Disliked: Fairly expensive for an out of season stay. We visited outside the peak - it is a large site and would be very busy in peak season - but it did seem to have the facilities to cope with lost of visitors.

Liked: A lovely campsite ideally located 20 minute walk to Cheddar Gorge. Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. They have local maps for Walks in and around Cheddar (I didn't have the time on this visit next time though ). Facilities were great both the toilets and showers were of a good size which made a nice change. Washing up area was good too. All in all 5 Stars
Disliked: The showers are great for space including a few large ones. However the changing area floor gets wet as it's at same level as the shower. A slatted floor would be an Ideal upgrade
