Liked: Nice flat campsite, friendly staff, good price . Was good having the pub next to the campsite , we had our evening meal there and great cooked breakfast this morning for a good price. Nice to have hot water at the toilets and showers as been to another site over the weekend which didn't have this ! We would be happy to stay again if we in the area.

Liked: Good sized flat pitches. Clean toilets and hot showers. Great pub with very friendly and helpful staff, quality ales and food. Breakfasts served in the pub from 8.00am. Local shop and post office just ten minutes walk away. Bus stop next to the pub - a short ride to Lulworth Cove.

Disliked: The main road is close by and is quite busy. There were noisy tractors driving around in the early hours of the morning while we were there.

Powered grass site

Liked: The bar staff are lovely. Very friendly. Decent size basic pitch. The toilets and showers are kept clean.

Disliked: There are only 2 toilets, 3 showers and 1 washing up sink which is quite a walk, especially during the night. The grass needed cutting in the field as it was very long. The field could do with a bit of TLC. Uneven in places and my friend fell over causing bruises to her hands and knees. The place is on a main road which is noisy during the night. The food is nice in the pub but over priced. The pub closes at 7pm on a Sunday.

Liked: We liked everything about this campsite but the staff in the pub deserve a special mention!!! The friendliest and most attentive team, nothing was too much for them. We felt unbelievably welcome, despite having a 2 and 3 year old with us. Pitches were also very thoughtfully placed on the field with nice distance between everyone. Nice hot showers. Relaxed, friendly atmosphere at all times. We will definitely be back!
