Liked: Super friendly staff. Very dog friendly. Showers/toilets modern and very clean. Lovely quiet site with great transport links. Bus and train just 5 mins walk away which can take you to all main tourist destinations. Two pubs, takeaways and convenience stores within walking distance too. Unpowered grass site
Liked: The country side, the river, close to village amenities , toilets etc spotless and the fact that they were warm and music piped through
Disliked: The fact that you wanted to charge me to have a friend I hadn’t seen for 40 years to visit us for a cup of tea

Liked: Very friendly welcome from staff on site on foot despite it pouring it down outside (I’d have been miserable!). Informative and helpful too. Clean and good sized toilet and shower facilities. Well maintained grass so feet didn’t get wet when venturing out on site in the rain/after rain in sliders. Relaxing and peaceful site within walking distance to a pub and public transport links, would definitely book again.

Liked: Convenient base for touring, very close to Tank Museum and Monkey World and just across the railway bridge right next door, a pub serving good food and of course all kinds of beverages. Southern rail train station a short stroll including bus links to Weymouth/Lulworth/Swanage/Pool, also links to Tank Museum. All the staff were very helpful and informative as we had an engine management light problem on our van upon arrival, having to call breakdown which got sorted. Stocked shop and information with games room, lovely clean and tidy facilities and well kept site. A short walk to local shops, a cafe and a chippy. Wood recommend and will be back again.

Liked: An excellent well maintained site with friendly staff. Facilities were very clean. Great showers and seperate cubicles with sinks. Shop on site and more a short walk away in the village. Lovely pub with extensive garden a few minutes walk away. Very handy for the train station, meaning you can leave the car/van behind for the day and head to one of the nearby towns. Only 20 mins by train to Poole.

Liked: Showers and toilets clean. Wardens were kind and friendly. Walking distance of an average pub
Disliked: Very quiet campsite next to a train line and road, no noise other than regular trains day and night. Quite soul-less. I think there are lots of longterm caravans here and so they are empty. Ok if you want a quiet pitch looking at an empty caravan and a hedge. Not really a family campsite. Poor phone reception and WiFi that cost £10 for 2 nights didn’t work. We were refunded though and they did try and fix it. Expensive for grass electric pitch
