Liked Great location - can walk in to Corfe, and can walk to the coast. Lots of pitch space, and a quiet site - just the chuffing of the steam trains, which was lovely!
Clean and hot showers. Really friendly campsite owners.
Disliked Quite an exposed, so windy, site but pitching next to the hedge minimises this (and brings you closer to the birdsong!)
Nice spacious site in a lovely location.
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Space - site is never packed full so always plenty of space around each pitch.
Location - close to Swanage, Corfe Castle and Wareham. Short drive to each, and a good bus service very close by.
Disliked Showers in tent field could be improved (and one was out of order when I was there.)

Liked I loved the location, the flexibility of the host. The chilled nature of the site generally. The weather was excellent which always helps.
The showers were great, can't be described as luxurious, but I loved them, maybe a couple more hooks for towels etc. I actually loved the system of how the water system worked. Yes I'm sad...
Massive fields so you're not on top of each other.
The most amazing value for money, in my opinion.
Disliked Only cold water for washing up.....that's all I can think...
Lovely view from the top field towards Corfe castle…

Liked Lovely view from the top field towards Corfe castle
Disliked Facilities were basic. Portaloo toilets, though one was sealed up, corrugated metal shower cubicles, no sign of grey waste or toilet waste disposal point .
From the manager: I am sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. We have flushing
Toilets, the portaloos were for staff only. We also have toilet waste facilities.
Amazing site and great facilities

Loved it here. Lush facilities and friendly staff.
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Lovely and clean toilets and nice warm showers.
Washing up facilities were lovely but are cold water.
Lovely view of corfe castle from the top field. I stayed on the bottom field so had no view, but it was lovely and peaceful. And let's be honest, it's not like anyone's whole trip is gonna hinge on seeing the castle from their tent 😂.
Staff were lovely and friendly, you need to phone when you get their to check in, this was nice and efficient and there is a large sign on the gate as you go in with the phone number on.
Staff also come around in the evening if you want to rent a fire pit or buy fire wood.
There's lots to do nearby too. Corfe castle, monkey world, tank museum and lots of beaches too all within a 20 minute drive.
I really liked it here and will be coming back.
Disliked Pitches were quite slanted, but as it's pick your own pitch i could've put the effort in to set up somewhere flatter.
Toilet lights only come on when its very dark outside, so in the evenings, before the lights turn on it can be very dark in the loos. Easily solvable by bringing a torch though.

Love it!

Liked I particularly liked the peace and quiet of this camping spot.
At a few minutes walk, one can spot the Corfe Casle in the distance, a nice picture opportunity!
I also appreciate the facilities: clean toilets and showers, hot water, a dish washing spot. What else can I wish for?
I will be back!
From the manager: Thank you for your review
Great little spot, very relaxed. Would stay again
