Unpowered grass site (pet friendly)
Liked: Great pitches, flat with plenty of space, friendly staff both on site and in bar, facilities plentiful and always spotlessly clean. Never a shortage of hot water either for washing or washing up. Woodlands for the dog to run free were a real bonus and we're used several times a day every day.
Disliked: Having to come home!

Astro Turf powered concrete and grass tent or campervan site
Liked: Warm welcome , great facilities , a very well kept site , well stocked shop, excellent personal showers / wc’s - great bar - lovely atmosphere, friendly helpful bar staff - the bar was very busy ! Highly recommend this site , had a very enjoyable visit (even if the weather wasn’t great !) and will definitely return ..thank you
Disliked: Stayed on a mixed grass /astro pitch - the grass area for the van wasn’t totally flat and we had some difficultly accessing the WiFi from our pitch - but really not major issues as everything else was so good

From the manager: Thank you for the top score and do come again.

Astro Turf powered concrete and grass tent or campervan site
Liked: From the moment you arrive you are made to feel welcome. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The site is extremely well looked after, clean and tidy. The toilet blocks were always clean. The dog walking area is absolutely fantastic , my dog loved being able to be off lead. Monty’s Bar open 4pm - 8pm everyday was a great socialising area. We will be back again very soon.

Fully-serviced concrete and grass site
Liked: Everything! It’s the quietest, cleanest, nicest site I’ve ever stayed on. I felt incredibly safe as a lone female with a lil dog. The staff were so friendly and genuinely interested and helpful - couldn’t ask for more - the facilities were above and beyond - I will be back!!!!! No children - heaven
Disliked: A minor thing but one of the dog woodlands had a very stinky stream which you can’t smell from the site BUT a warning sign would have been fabulous as before bedtime I walked my cockapoo and she went fir a stinky bath!! Meaning at 9pm I was washing and blow drying a smelly dog as we are in a small can together. I’d have appreciated a heads up signing gate 👍🏻

From the manager: Many thanks for the review and we are glad that you enjoyed the site so very much. Sorry to hear about the smelly dog. I am not sure how we could put signage all along the stream warning people, it is a natural woodland and we do state that at the entrance. I thing if you have an adventurous dog they may be best kept on the lead when near the stream. We do look forward to welcoming you again soon.
Excellent. Looking forward to visiting again.

Unpowered grass site (pet friendly)
Liked: Facilities were fantastic and the camp site was clean, tidy and well thought out. Shop was lovely and food choices were good. The access to the woods was great and the nature reserve beautiful.
Disliked: We were on a dog friendly pitch which was next to the dog no go area. Not a dislike so much as a strange choice of location.
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: Thank you so much. Regarding the pitch and the non dog area. You chose a grass non electric camping pitch, which is in the top area of the park. Behind that is a SSSI (Site of special scientific interest) which is designated by Natural England for the protection of wildlife so its a non dog walking area. This is out of our hands, however the rest of the park is all dog friendly for you to enjoy.

Emma's Glade unpowered grass tent or campervan site (no pets, wild)
Liked: Staff helpful Site very clean Toilet blocks and showers very clean Lovely walking area on site Great little shop and bar area
Disliked: Price of drinks in the bar and happy hour a bit of a con as not 2 for one which is what a happy hour should be.
Recommend to friends Visit again
From the manager: Thank you for the great review and recommendation. A bit confused on the Happy Hour '2 for 1' comment. We offer reduced prices at Happy Hour on things like pints of beer and wine. I don't know any pub in Happy Hour that you get 2 pints for the price of 1? We are very reasonably priced on our bar as most comments mention. Anyway, I am glad you had a nice stay with us.
