What customers say
This tidy campsite's ripper spot on the Tarka Trail is a cyclist and walker's dream. Guests rave about the spotless, modern facilities, roomy sites, and helpful staff. Lovely estuary views and a chilled vibe get a big tick. The onsite microbrewery is a bonus. Some mention it can get windy and wish for more shelter.

Liked Quiet with large pitches and clean, nee, facilities. Right on the bike trail, easy to find and good roads to get in. They also have a drive over grey water, which we found hard to find at some places.
Disliked Honestly nothing at all!

A perfect North Devon holiday
Powered grass motorhome site
Liked This was a return visit to our favourite campsite. Everything was wonderful, from the cheerful welcome, to the ultra-clean toilets and the view across the estuary. We choose this site for its access to the Tarka trail where we can cycle traffic-free into nearby places like Barnstable, Bideford, Instow and Appledore. But the site is excellent in its own right.
Disliked No laundry facilities?

Liked Lovely site, good size pitches easy to get to. A gate onto Tarka trail for us to enjoy 2 days of level cycling with great views. Fantastic shower/toilet block & a great WiFi.
Disliked The helicopters were out one night, rather noisy, but can’t be helped.

This 5* site is for the more senior people looking for quiet time
Powered grass motorhome site
Liked Very well run site with beautiful views.
The entrance from the main road is interesting I would say!
Flat and well kept pitches with hard standing, hook ups close by.
The toilet/shower/dishwashing facilities are 5*, I couldn't fault them!
Ideal for more senior cyclists and dog walker (I don't have a bike or a dog).
Disliked This isn't a site criticism, but, the site is very sedate.
Not a lot of life (when we were there) no flags or lights/banners or such.
This is the first time in six years I have been charged £5/night for a car being towed by a motorhome!
