Liked: Lack of road and vehicle noise in the background. Views of the Moors Wildlife, especially the swallows swooping across the grass in front of the tent. Friendly Peacock
Disliked: The only contact was by phone on arrival, to say pitch tent anywhere in the field. So no contact with staff. No Bunkhouse Sign on the road at the entrance to the site. Being woken at 4:30am by cows eating grass next to the tent on the first night.

Liked: Beautiful place, easy to find in a very convenient location. Perfect for walks on the Dartmoor or the beach! The sheep come “to say hello” in the morning and they are adorable, specially the baby ones. Toilets and shower were clean with hot water.

Hobbit camping pod
Liked: Showers were great, really hot, no timers😊. Really nice feel to the site, peacock wandering around, along with chickens and pea hens.
Disliked: No electricity in the bunkhouse, weather was not great when we were there so very cold, luckily we had a gas camping stove that we used as a heater, without this I think we might have left after the first night. I think for the money we paid we should have had electricity. Bunk house could do with a good clean as well. No Wi-Fi in the bunkhouse, had to walk to the car park to get any signal. Could not park next to the bunk house.

Cabin
Liked: The area was lovely. Close to Ivybridge that was a really nice small town with independent shops. Nice outside, undercover area at the cabin to sit in the evening. Comfortable night's sleep. Facilities were clean and easy to get to. Children liked the farm animals on site.
Disliked: Not greeted on arrival to show us around, however owner did stop by to say hello in the evening. The cabins don't have parking alongside as advertised.

Hobbit camping pod
Liked: What a beautiful place! We loved the location, loved the pig and the birds and loved the beautifully done Hobbit hut. We were surprised by how spacious the hut was and it was clean and comfortable. The facilities were great too - clean and modern.
Disliked: We were pretty cold despite lots of layers to sleep in - the hut is essentially camping under wood rather than canvas, but the size of the hut means it's a slightly chillier experience than being in a tent!

#1 camping pod
Liked: Clean bathrooms and showers. Quality toilet paper.
Disliked: Camping pod really needed a good sweeping. Mattress covers were a bit grubby and stained. There was a light, but no outlets. I've stayed in other camping pods in the UK for a similar price that included a space heater and electric kettle.

Liked: Great location, feels like the middle of nowhere and tent pitching area is good. Staff were very friendly and helpful as when our tent broke and was unusable we were allowed to stay in the free pod for the night - greatly appreciated!

Liked: Big spacious field, friendly owners that were easy to get a hold of, very clean toilets and the shower was one of the best campsite showers I’ve had, really hot water with good water pressure and liked how you switched the shower on rather than needing to press a button all the time
Disliked: The grass could do with being a bit shorter
