Fully-serviced concrete and grass caravan site

Liked: Lovely clean and welcoming campsite. Close to Woolacombe and Ilfracombe, so lots to do not far away? With lots to do close by too. Had a tut good a time, we rebooked for next year.

Liked: The site is amazingly family friendly with a lovely play area which our 4, 6 and 7 year old spent hours playing on. It is also spotlessly clean and the effort by the family owners to accommodate and help was outstanding. We will definitely be returning.

Liked: Everything was lovely, clean , tidy , showers toilets brilliantly clean and tidy , washing up immaculate, all bins for recycling was fab . Welcome by Sarah was lovely, very chatty and made us feel very welcome. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early for personal reasons but would definitely go back , very peaceful site .

Liked: That it was a small quiet site, excellent facilities that were always clean. Plus there was loads of local information given when we booked in, verbally and in leaflets. Owners were very friendly and were very happy to help in any way. We liked the fact that we could text them with any problems such as other campers being too loud late at night even though we didn’t have to. Great views, we could see the sea and we had horses in the field behind us. Everything was brilliant, we would definitely stay there again and would recommend to others.

Liked: Small peaceful site. Excellent toilet and hot showers. Sea views but far enough out to be away from the crowds. All clean and tidy.

Disliked: No washing machine. More hooks needed in shower cubicle for clothes.

Liked: We absolutely loved our stay here! The staff we met on both reception and the cleaner/gardener were so friendly and helpful! The facilities are brilliant, the toilet/shower blocks always clean and there was wifi which was a nice bonus! Also super accessible to lovely Woolacombe beach and other fab places.

Liked: Location close to ilfracombe.good size pitches that were reasonably priced. Very friendly staff.

Disliked: Toilets and washing up room cleaned at 9am, just when everyone wanted to use them, which was inconvenient

Local attractions

The surfing of Woolacombe and the Victorian town of Ilfracombe are both three miles from Sunnymead Farm, as are the famed Tunnels Beaches, the hand-carved tunnels leading to sheltered coves and a Victorian bathing pool (you can get married at the Tunnels these days, so drop a holiday hint if you think that'd be your thing). Combe Martin Dinosaur Park should whet the appetite for your next south-west England trip (to the Jurassic Coast) and as it's the 'gateway to Exmoor', all sorts of outdoorsy activities lie just ahead. Award-winning conservation centre Exmoor Zoo has over 200 species of animals, birds and reptiles. Watermouth Family Theme Park and Castle just outside Ilfracombe has a labyrinth, rides and play areas in a rather splendid setting overlooking Watermouth Cove; buy a return ticket to come back again for a tiny price throughout the season. And if you're feeling active, the amount of things you could get busy at in Devon are too many to list, but could include surfing, horse riding, swimming, tennis, golf, quad biking, ten-pin bowling and cycling (the Route 27 cycle trail is close by).

Admission

Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.

Changes to your holiday

Bookings cannot be amended within 28 day(s) of arrival.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leashes and supervised at all times.

Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the campground/park are unlit.

General

In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.

Changes to your holiday

Modifications are subject to a GBP25.00 ($47.69) fee.

Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and trunks must be closed quietly.

Reception

Reception is unmanned after 6 p.m.. Please inform the campground while on your way there should you expect to arrive after this time so that the team can provide information about your unit/site.

General

The campground/park is not liable for any refund in the event of force majeure.

Vehicles

The car is only included in the rate if you are traveling with a camper, trailer tent or tent. Cars are not permitted when traveling with a motorhome/RV.

The management reserves the right to deny access or terminate the stay of those guests whose behavior is deemed unsuitable. No refunds will be offered.
