Liked: space, surrounding nature, no road and rural cars behind the fence, large playground, Haldon Forest in "walkable" distance [6 years old who dislike walks on foot did manage!] and some other attractions , and you don't need to move your car until you run out of food ;) Campfires allowed! on fire pit,
Disliked: recycling bins not organized, it wasn't clear at all where do I put what, so in fact all bins were mixed rubbish.

Liked: The camp was spacious and had lovely views of the forest and surrounding hills. It was very relaxed (not too many rules or limitations) you certainly weren't being checked up on. The owners were friendly and helpful. Great play area for the kids.
Disliked: The whole site was huge and has such potential that is untapped. Most of this huge site was empty and some of it was looking a little sorry for itself. The shop is permanently closed as they can't run it without more staff and only one toilet block is open (although this was only busy on the bank holiday weekend). Push button taps on pot wash sinks were a bit of a pain. Also we had many families who did not put their dogs on Leeds at all and they often wandered over to our tent to see our dogs (who were on leads) and also occasionally to cock their legs on our chairs. Some dogs were even being taken into the toilet block with their owners.
