we are the longest running family run campsite designed to cater for families and those who enjoy a relaxing holiday within the village of Croyde . just a short walk to the golden sandy, lifeguarded beach of Croyde bay, with it`s rolling surf and safe rock pools there`s something for everyone . Nestled within the Downs with most pitches having views of the bay, when after a great day on the beach or enjoying the local area, you can sit back and watch the spectacular sun sets over the bay and Lundy Island . Croyde itself is a picturesque village full of old world charm, world famous pubs, restaurants and ice creams! in an area of out standing natural beauty and situated within easy reach of four of the uk`s top surf beaches . there are numerous footpaths within easy reach of our site that offer beautiful panoramic views. our site has been awarded Five Star AA Rating And a South West England Campsite Of The Year Award . We are very proud of our facilities which include plenty of free hot showers and toilets, family rooms, H&C wash basins, a disabled facility, Baby changing/bath, wetsuit showers and wash facilities. There is a small shop at reception during high season. We offer a freezer pack mobile phone charging service for a small fee which helps us raise money for local charities. We have a large purpose built children`s play area situated safely away from any roads. wifi accessible from all of the site . Serviced pitches for tents and tourers and fully serviced touring van pitches available, along with seasonal touring van pitches with storage.   • The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
  • Group bookings of 3 or more units (e.g. tent, caravan, motorhome or accommodation hire) travelling together are not permitted via Pitchup.com.
  • Group bookings of 4 or more adults are not permitted (couples and immediate family members excepted).
  • Single-sex bookings of 2 or more people (couples and immediate family members excepted) are not permitted via Pitchup.com.
  • No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
  • Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.
  • The campground/park caters for families (immediate members) and couples only - bookings from all other forms of groups are not accepted.
  • At least one of the party members must be aged 18 or over.
  • A cable measuring at least 30 metres is needed for the electric hook-ups.
  • Guests must bring their own duvets, pillows, sheets and towels when staying in rental accommodation. You will not be allowed to stay if you do not bring these items.

Route directions

by car 1 leave M5 at junction 27 and follow the North Devon link road (A361) to Barnstaple. 2 from Barnstaple continue along the A361 towards Braunton and Ilfracombe (signposted). 3 In the centre of Braunton (about 5 miles from Barnstaple), turn left after 2nd set of traffic lights onto the B3231, signposted Saunton and Croyde . Continue along the B3231 coastal road to Croyde. Bay View Farm is on the right as your come in to Croyde village. by train nearest train station is Barnstaple. by bus the 308 local bus service to Croyde/Georgeham stops right out side Bay View Farm Caravan and Camping park
