North Hole Farm is an a working organic dairy farm between the well-known surfing beaches of Croyde and Putsborough, down the road from the pretty village of Georgeham which has a shop and pubs (one very popular in the area for its fresh food and good ale). Roam across the fields to join the road down to Putsborough, a sandy beach with rockpools. The farm is also well placed for one of the top surfing destinations in the country, Croyde Bay two miles away, which has a mile of scenic beach as well as restaurants, pubs and shops. If Croyde isn't the beach for you, then Woolacombe, Saunton and Putsborough beaches are all just a short drive away. The farm has a shared family play area with climbing frame and slide; guests are also welcome to watch the farming activities on site such as milking. The site has plenty of parking. Amenities include a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer; a hot shower and flushing toilets, and a kettle, toaster, microwave and fridge for guests' use.

Local attractions

North Devon has plenty of activities among its spectacular scenery, including many all-year attractions, walks on Exmoor National Park and visits to historic Barnstaple with its market and high street shops. Several surf schools are in the area if you want to learn the art; for longboarding, drive a mile or so along the coast to Saunton Sands. Around Croyde and this part of coast, hike the National Trust-managed coastline along to Baggy Point, or have a day out around another famed Devon surfing spot in Woolacombe.
