This is your grass strip that runs along the top of the field with 180 degree panoramic views.

We are a small arable farm between Barnstaple and Braunton. We have spectacular panoramic views looking out over the Taw estuary and out to the ocean beyond. Our field 'Foxhall' is an arable field with a wide flat grass strip at the top to park along. Although we do not provide toilets and showers we do provide s chemical emptying point for your own use, fresh water taps and a recycling and rubbish collection area.

  • This campground/park has no on-site toilet and shower facilities.
  • Under 18s must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians.
  • The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dog Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro).
  • No hen/stag parties permitted via Pitchup.com.
  • Bookings must not be for more than 28 consecutive nights.
  • At least one of the party members must be aged 21 or over.
  • Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the campground/park are unlit.
  • There is no reception building on-site: on arrival please contact the number provided on your booking confirmation.
  • Fires, barbecues and/or firepits will not be permitted in dry, windy and/or hot weather conditions.

Local attractions

The Tarka Trail has 38 miles of coastal cycling along the old railway line and is located half a mile away. You can rent bikes from Chivenor or anywhere along the line. Sandy beaches are a 10 minute drive and also there is 1800ha of world renowned biosphere of Braunton Burrows. Good pubs are within a 5 minute drive one of which is on the Tarka Trail. We are also within easy reach of the South West Coast Path.
