Liked: Excellent location, very quiet with lake view, yet only 10 minutes off the A30. Very handy for an overnight stay. Very friendly staff, good service. We ate our evening meal in the restaurant. We both had curries and they were deli ious - Jalfrezi and Korma with Sag Aloo and Pilau Rice Pitch reasonably priced Facilities OK

Liked: The space and how well laid out it was. The setting was away from the main road and next to a beautiful reservoir/lake and even though we were out of season it looked like it would be very well established for a bustling summer as it had a park, bar and restaurant. The gentleman that owns it was so helpful and made us feel welcome.

Disliked: Nothing was open and it did not stipulate this on the booking so was hoping we would be able to use the main facilities as we were charged £50 for one night. Apart from that I would return if it was summer.

Disliked: The site was very poorly maintained. Grass uncut, toilet and wash facilities very dirty. No cleaning took place during our two day stay. My partner refused to use the female showers as she felt she would come out dirtier.

Liked: Exactly what you needed for camping, lots of space.toliets and shower rooms were clean.free pool table.The staff were helpful and friendly.Lovley views and close to the lake.Dogs are welcomed.

Disliked: The tavern/Hotel was a little out dated could do with a bit if tlc, it was a little uninviting.
