  • Cosy Cornish shepherd’s hut with spectacular views to the sea
  • Falmouth, Swanpool Beach and Flambards Theme Park 15 minutes’ drive
  • Shower hut and well-equipped galley kitchen; pub 20 minutes’ walk
Small and family-run, Anneth Lowen Camping is a peaceful campsite with spectacular views over undulating Cornish hills and farmland to the sea. It’s less than 10 minutes’ drive from the shops and restaurants of Penryn, while the lively coastal resort of Falmouth is 15 minutes by car. Cosy accommodation is in a nifty little shepherd’s hut, well-equipped with a comfy double bed, a kitchen corner with all the utensils you need for two, dining space and a woodburner for the colder months. Decor is cosy and colourful, and lots of touches like rugs and cushions keep the hut looking very welcoming indeed. Outside on the decking, you can soak up the gorgeous views while you dine alfresco on warmer evenings. Shared facilities also include a shower hut with a washing-up area, and The Galley, an additional kitchen with gas rings, a small fridge and food-prep areas. If the thought of cooking on your Cornwall break isn’t filling you with glee, there’s a pub in the nearest village of Mabe Burnthouse (20 minutes’ walk) that serves good hot food. The keen walkers and cyclists among you can be out and about on quiet paths and trails directly from the shepherd’s hut, and there’s lots to keep you active in the area, from a via ferrata climbing route to watersports.
