Great for Eden Sessions access on foot!
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked The location within walking distance of Eden Project, we were there for Eden Sessions to see Biffy Clyro.
Friendly owner 🙂
A hours walk back after the gig
Disliked Shower toilet combo resulting in wet loo rolls all the time and not enough space to hang towels or a shelf to put shampoo etc...
No hairdryers.
Disliked the fact that I thought from the write up, it was still a functioning pub, that we could get food / drink at...
It's not been a pub for a while.
Beautiful site. Very nice owner. We would book again.
Unpowered grass site
Liked What a fantastic guy the owner Mark is. So accommodating, we were visiting the Eden project to one of the Eden music sessions, he provided a lift back for us so we didn't have to walk through the dark forest. (Take a torch)
Beautiful site, 15 to 20 mins walk to the Eden project through a forest trail.
Disliked Nothing,
Can't fault it, will be going back asap
Power optional grass and gravel site
Liked Can't rate this high enough! We stayed here as booked the Eden sessions, easy 15 minute walk down a lovely foot path BUT the guy running the site actually does lifts! Absolute legend, friendly, clean facilities and unbelievably peaceful. Can't wait to go back
Disliked Having to go home!

Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Great price, great spot, great other guests, and great facilities. There for an Eden Sessions gig - Deftones. Mark personally taxied us (and probably most of the campsite) to Eden’s gates - which is then just a short 2-min walk to the courtesy bus - and then collected us again at 11pm. Ridiculously selfless! Never had hospitality like that, and may never again. For camping in the area, particularly for gigs, look no further than this superb gem.
Disliked Nothing
Poor site , poor facilities
Power optional grass and gravel site
Liked Site was pretty - lovely trees - near Eden project but not great for walking home in the dark !
Disliked Basic - shower block poor - needs updating . Shower in sane cubicle as toilet but not a wet room everything got wet and drainage poor . Dirty not cleaned properly or often enough .
Owner misleading regarding a taxi service to Eden .so we walked , not a problem in the day but at night , it was through a very dark woodland area .
From the manager: Should have gone to travel lodge.
Peaceful but a bit rough round the edges
Power optional grass and gravel site
Liked It was very peaceful , not many people staying , very laid back site, and we were given extra room to put our car.
Friendly owner.
Disliked Toilets were clean but very cobwebby in the corners of the showers.
£20 charge for 4 nights electric, knew we’d have to pay but that’s quite expensive, especially as we sat out all evening as the weather was lovely , so it was just for the fridge electric and morning cuppa.
The pub wasn’t as close as we had thought it would be (40 mins walk), guess we miss read the info 🤷♀️ , so we didn’t go , too far with an old dog.
Convenient location Cramped
Unpowered grass site
Liked Location close to Eden project
Toilet/shower facilities good
Disliked When we arrived back at our pitch we had 2 vans parked extremely close to us. We could only just open our boot.
Toilets and showers were a bit grim. Overpriced.

Liked Proximity to Eden
Disliked They clearly overbooked and gave our pitch’s to someone else and stuck me and my pals on one pitch in an overflow area with no electric.
From the manager: Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I am very sorry you weren’t happy with the service you received. To confirm, as explained to yourself on the day you arrived. Your pitch was not available owing to a medical emergency with a customer who unfortunately was taken to hospital (& still remains there). I was unable to move his vehicle, and the site was fully booked. However, I did manage to place you with your friends on a flat grass pitch, in the sun together, as requested. Electric was available for you.
To address the cleanliness issues you raise, the facilities were heavily in use, they are cleaned regularly - I am sorry you felt this way.
