  • Scenic and award-winning site filled with flowers
  • Two lakes for coarse fishing plus nature reserve
  • Heated pool, crazy golf, playgrounds, games room and licensed shop
This fabulously floral site has been giving a warm welcome for more than 50 years. The grounds are blooming lovely – even the fishing lakes are filled with lilies – and it’s easy to see why Trevella Holiday Park is a regular winner of the Newquay in Bloom contest, and why so many people come back here every summer. Little buds can shoot around the heated outdoor pool, paddling pool, crazy golf, games room and playgrounds for different ages. There’s free coarse fishing in the two lakes and a pretty nature reserve to explore and a licensed shop. The roomy pitches sit within handsome parkland and the high-quality amenities include family bathrooms, baby changing and a laundry room.

Liked Welcoming reception, well-kept gardens, lovely little bar with friendly staff, location

Disliked Cleanliness of toilets/shower room/ laundry room. The cleaner openly moaned about how bad it was, but didn't do much about it? You can't help if it rains, but you expect clean shower and toilet facilities.
My daughter and I decided to use the family washrooms as they were slightly cleaner, but that disgruntled the cleaner as it meant more work for her?

Liked Facilities around the campsite and walks to Newquay and Crantock we easily accessible. Our dog loved being able to run on the beach and swim in the estuary. Highly recommend for dog walkers and young people wanting to explore. Staff were lovely and willing to help. Pool was good to cool off in and chill out with friends

Liked Friendly,clean holiday park.Great location.

Disliked Didn't sleep at all well as there were 3 different parties that were all together. They just let there dog poo anywhere they wanted, and drinking/music etc went on until after 1am. We booked a pitch and I also booked a glamping pod for my niece and children,we were put the end of the camping field from pod which was disappointing as would of been nice to be closer to family.

I can’t recommend enough! I will be staying again s oon.

Liked Lovely clean site, park wardens were very helpful on arrival. small bar with outside area open a few days of the week. Quite a quiet site, staff friendly. Nice food from small van, burgers, pizza, chips etc a few days of the week. Small heated pool you need to book a time, it was a little chilly but nice. Toilet block cleaned regularly. 30 mins walk down to Crantock beach, free parking down there in an evening, free with National Trust card during the day.

Disliked The showers could do with a small stool to keep your things on while your showering.

Lovely site ,clean amenities , friendly reception & a food truck available…

Liked Lovely site ,clean amenities , friendly reception & a food truck available on several nights. A lovely vibe on the campsite too. Hot water mostly in the showers ,although it can fluctuate depending on how busy it is , but never an issue. Sheltered washing up areas , a shop ,swimming pool & the lovely piskie inn ! Generally a nice place to pitch up with a good view. I’d recommend 😊

Disliked The dusty uneven tracks between the pitches which cover your car , tent & motorhome . If there were speed bumps or signs asking drivers to slow down then it wouldn’t be an issue but unfortunately most people were driving too fast & not considering the dust trail that they left behind.
The early morning noise should be a consideration too .We were woken several times before 6am by noisy families that clearly don’t respect the etiquette on a campsite . Just as there are ‘ light ‘ curfews on late night noise that should also be applied to the morning. After all ,we are all on holiday & much as we don’t want to miss the day we also don’t miss our early morning alarm!

Local attractions

A quick meander along the verdant country lanes and pathways around Trevella can lead in various directions: a historic smugglers’ inn, a beach, Crantock’s thatched cottages and pretty village church, or to the Gannel estuary to fish, paddle, birdwatch or make the short hop on the ferry to Newquay. The latter probably needs no introduction, but on top of its famous beaches, it has a zoo, aquarium, farm park, boating lake and miniature railway – plus swimming pools (with flumes) and golf courses. This being Cornwall, visitors will find no shortage of ace attractions less than an hour away. Recommendations include losing oneself in the gardens at Heligan, taking in an atmospheric show at the open-air Minack Theatre, on the cliffs overlooking the sea; heading into the Eden Project’s massive crater, to examine the exotic flora in the jaw-dropping megadomes; and some painterly perusal at the Tate Gallery in St Ives. Then there are adventure parks, National Trust properties and open gardens galore; plus a lively programme of local land- and sea-based events, from festivals to carnivals, and regattas to traditional Cornish gig racing.
