The lovely views from site!

  • Peaceful farm site with spectacular sea and countryside views
  • A mile and a half from Boscastle
  • A short distance from the South West Coast Path
Spectacular sunsets, smashing views, spying seals and all a mere mile and a half from Boscastle… things sound tremendous at north Cornwall's Trebyla Farm. It's on the north Cornish coast (also tremendous) and within easy walking distance of the wildlife watching and hikes of the splendid South West Coast Path. Plenty of other walks surround this peaceful place, including a mile-long meander to the several pubs, restaurants and shops of Boscastle, as well as a scenic hike along to the beach at Crackington Haven. If you want to travel by wheels, a bus stop is just outside the farm entrance. The site covers two acres on a working farm, and it's worth pointing out yet again those smashing views. On a more practical level, guests have access to a spacious wetroom on site and there's a washing-up area and facilities for ice pack freezing. For supplies, stroll 10 or 15 minutes from Trebyla to a farm shop selling fresh local produce as well as dishing up sizeable cooked breakfasts: there are over 4,000 products here, so even fussy types should see themselves sorted. Source some fuel on your travels too, to spark up a barbecue or campfire once you stagger back to base with your haul.

What customers say

Trebyla Farm: gorgeous coastal views & peace. Spotless modern loos. Spacious, tidy pitches, many with sea views. Owners are super friendly & helpful. Great base for South West Coast Path & Boscastle. Can be breezy, but overall, top value for a chilled stay. Highly recommended.

Liked Facilities were amazing, plenty of toilets and showers (no press start) views were incredible. About a 5 minute drive away from Boscastle.

Disliked Only one way access to the toilets from the non electric field - would be great to have a cut through the fields to stop needing to walk into the road with little children as there's a slight bend where you're unable to see if any cars / motorhomes are coming.

We only stayed for one night but definitely wish we had stayed longer.

Liked Honestly this campsite is the best campsite I visited until now. Breathtaking view with good shower, toilet and drinking water facility. Visiting sites are very close to it. I recommend to go to Boscastle harbour which is 5 minutes drive from the Trebyla farm for observing sunset view. Overall it is what the camping site should be for the people who like enjoying sea views and like to visit other beautiful sites and beaches. It is 10/10 for me. The staff are very humble and helpful, ready to help anytime. I don’t know the Gentlemen’s name but he is super helpful with other staff.

Liked We really liked the pitch area and the views were fabulous! The owner was very helpful and they had many facilities so you were not waiting long.

Disliked I think the facilities could have been cleaned more often, especially in the morning and more thoroughly.

Liked Everything, fab campsite clean toilets and showers friendly staff and an amazing view from the pitch. Nothing was too much trouble the owner came round regularly on his quad to check everyone was happy. You can choose your pitch on arrival which was great as we managed to get an amazing view from our pitch. Great value for money, would highly recommend this site. We bought some fire wood and even though we were close to where it was kept he insisted on bringing it over to our pitch for us, great service.

Disliked Nothing to do with the campsite,as it was fab, the only thing I wasn't keen on was the hill back up from Boscastle after a 44 mile bikeride that was a killer! 🤣

Liked Loved the location, was so remote but had stunning views and coastal walks- perfect for our long weekend! Facilities were clean and well kept with mops and squeegees for the showers. Derek was lovely-very welcoming and present on site. Had adorable cows and sheep nearby too with baby calves (very sweet). Love the fact it’s dog friendly too! 10/10 would definitely return.

Disliked nothing!

Local attractions

One of the most famed things about Boscastle is its Museum of Witchcraft and Magic, open in Boscastle since 1960 and a popular stopoff point for tourists as well as those interested in witchcraft and the occult. The village should keep you going for a bit after a dip into the witchcraft museum, even if you just sit and stare at its scenic harbour from one of its two stone walls… If you fancy delving into a bit more history, the National Trust has a visitor centre in Boscastle's Old Smithy (and if not, there are a few interesting little shops around). The South West Coast Path is accessed from here – the walk to Arthurian Tintagel is much recommended – and those who want to stay active can source horse riding, fishing and golfing in the area too. This is of course surfing country as well, or you could stick to exploring the rockpools among the many sandy beaches around this part of coast.
