Liked Very quiet site with solar showers and clean toilets. Good wooded areas for dog walks, and pub and tap room in easy walking distance. Will definitely visit again
Nice campsite; shame about the ‘planes.
Unpowered grass tent, campervan or trailer tent site
Liked Location, generally “chill” atmosphere, and spaciousness.
Disliked Aircraft noise!
Way, way, way too much of it, like camping on the runway at Gatwick.
Definitely will stay again
Unpowered grass tent, campervan or trailer tent site
Liked The camp site was really clean, washing and cleaning facilities were amazing and clean. Plenty of places to pitch up, having fire pits avatar really good.
Disliked Bins were a little far away
Huge, well maintained site.
Unpowered grass tent, campervan or trailer tent site
Liked Huge site with several fields surrounded by mature trees. Loads of space and completely free of traffic noise. We were there during the heatwave so were glad to find a pitch in the shade of a large tree.
It seemed odd that there is no reception and we saw no sign of the owners during our 1 night stay. Apparently they hadn't been seen the previous day either
Beautiful site with excellent facilities
Unpowered grass tent, campervan or trailer tent site
Liked A beautiful campsite with perfect facilities, the ideal balance between wildness and comfort, with easy footpaths directly from the site.
Claire was also very accommodating to my request for a quieter pitch, even on her busiest weekend.
