  • Large, family-friendly touring park on Seal Bay Resort
  • A 10-minute walk to the sea and a 20-minute drive from Chichester
  • Includes access to facilities at nearby parks (shuttle bus provided)
Here's a cracking Sussex spot – with 11 acres of flat grassy grounds to its name, Warner Farm Touring Park is located on the southern tip of Selsey Bill. Both the centre of village of Selsey and the Solent coast are under a mile away, and a host of top-notch leisure activities are available nearby. The friendly folk who run this place have teamed up with neighbouring sites so that guests have free access to a wide range of facilities (bars, restaurants, kids' clubs, pools and a gym are all on the cards). Whether you're looking to get a sweat on, indulge in a soak or simply sunbathe by the pool, a handy shuttle bus is provided free of charge to chauffeur you around. (Please note, though, that your motorhome/campervan will need to stay in place at Warner Farm, and not be driven between the parks.) In addition to these perks, RSPB Medmerry Nature Reserve is located right next door, making it even easier to relax and unwind: make tracks here for marshland walks, cycle trails and spectacular seaside views. Facilities-wise, there's no need to venture far for the essentials: showers, toilets (including family washrooms and baby changing), charging points and a laundry room are all provided on site. Furry friends are welcome at Warner Farm Touring Park, as are barbecues. Pubs and a nifty local food shop are a 10-minute walk away.

What customers say

Sprawling, tidy site with top staff. Great for families with plenty to do, especially the pools. Pitches can be tight, it gets a bit noisy, and e-bikes are speedy. Some activities pricey. Many keen to come back.

Liked Great dog walking and spectacular fenland walking. Easy access to facilities, either walking or using the bus. Swimming complex very enjoyable and clean. Get what you pay for, advertised on the tin!

Disliked Male Toilets at camping site were pretty gruesome, but probably says more about the users than the cleaning regimen.

Liked Absolutely fantastic park. All the amenities available will keep the whole family entertained. The restaurants were amazing accommodating every wimp of our group. And the staff were incredible and so helpful. Definitely booking for next year, taking a bigger brood and I know Warner Farm and surrounding sites will be just as amazing.

Liked The campsite has good size pitches and level, we had one with an electric hook up. Travelling with young children, being close to the play park was a good bonus. The pools were good, the kids very much enjoyed the water slides and lazy river. The site itself is close to amenities which is useful. Facilities were some what clean, at times the toilet block ran out of toilet roll or it was thrown across the floor. The showers were hot and fairly roomy.

Disliked Whilst this is advertised as dog friendly, dogs cannot access any of the buildings. There is a dog park which you have to pay for (although the previous user would usually leave the gate open). The site itself is huge which for us was okay however the tent pitches were around a 15 min walk from the beach and both pools. We were accused of a noise complaint, whilst we weren’t even on site! The site itself is rather over priced and the activities for kids gets booked up very quickly!

Liked lots for the kids to do over all the linked parks. Food was a reasonable price too. Staff friendly

Disliked only complaint is the touring park could do with a shop thats a bit closer. it was a bit of a trek for the Nisa’s on the other sites and bus not always around at the time required.

Liked Sheer size of the park, lots to do and free shuttle bus to get around short walk into Selsey itself although not much to see
Easy to get a bus to Chichester and beyond
Bottom of the park is right on the beach which again is vast so plenty of room

Disliked Some areas felt like being squashed in like sardines but overall pitch sizes were good although we weren’t allowed a screen house next to our Motorhome we were asked to take it down but other caravans were allowed a car a caravan and an awning it didn’t seem fair to me
Camper vans were parked on pitches but also had tents up lady in reception was quite blunt just told us it’s policy and take it down or make sure it’s connected properly which unfortunately we couldn’t do this did put a dampener on our time there luckily it was nice weather though so we still sat outside on an evening

Local attractions

Fancy a day at the races? The Goodwood Estate (25 minutes' drive) plays host to heaps of horsey action alongside regular motor racing festivals and concerts. If you feel like having a go in the saddle yourself, the stables in nearby West Wittering (25 minutes) are well-placed for beachfront canters. History buffs will find much to keep them busy around these parts: the cathedral city of Chichester is 20 minutes away, as is Fishbourne Roman Palace, the largest Roman villa excavated in Britain. For further regal residences, head to Arundel (half an hour) and the town's stunning castle and gardens. For naval history, the Mary Rose Museum in Portsmouth (35 minutes) should be just the ticket. Portsmouth is also home to more contemporary attractions: Gunwharf Quays shopping outlet is a fab spot to bag designer labels at a discount price, while the Spinnaker Tower's lofty viewing platform has spectacular vistas over the harbour, the sea and the nearby Isle of Wight. Worthing (50 minutes) is another coastal spot that's well worth the trip: energetic visitors might fancy hiking up the country's largest hill fort at Cissbury Ring, while genteel types may prefer a leisurely stroll along the pier.
