  • Simple but scenic Surrey riverside field in the Mole Gap
  • Located in the North Downs three miles north of Dorking
  • Surrounded by organic sheep and cattle pastures
Swanworth Farm is a simple but scenic riverside site in Surrey's North Downs. Located in the Mole Gap area of the county in a riverside spot surrounded by organic sheep and cattle pastures, this South East England campsite is part of the Norbury Park Estate, a large tract of land that makes up part of the spectacular Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The market town of Dorking โ€“ an attractive and well-preserved area with plenty cafรฉs, pubs and shops โ€“ is a three-mile drive away to the south, but guests here can by and large forget about the car and take advantage of the endless footpaths (including the North Downs Way), bike routes and bridleways that crisscross the surrounding countryside. With views over Box Hill and a handsome historic house, the pitching field at Swanworth Farm is an attractive location to sit back and relax in. You can also light up a barbecue here (off the ground to keep the grass green and fresh, please), and when nature calls the portable toilets are a short walk away across the field.

Unpowered grass tent or trailer tent site

Liked: Easy going simple campsite with running water and a composting toilet, and plenty of wood for open fires. Back to basics. Talkative sheep and the hum of a regular train in the heart of the picturesque Surrey Hills - great for a quick nightโ€™s rest in the middle of a North Downs Way Bikepacking trip! Value for money!
