Brimming with history, the oldest part of the house dates back to 1350 – in stark contrast to the geodesic domes, which offer the very latest in contemporary comfort. With spacious and modern interiors plus rural views from the quality double beds, the domes also offer up a private outdoor decking area, ideal for chilling with a glass of fizz in hand. Heated bathrooms with premium toiletries, a kitchenette decked out with all the essentials and Nespresso coffee machines come as part of the luxury package. There are dozens of footpaths with direct access from the site – and happily it is dog friendly, so your canine chums can share your adventures too – and well away from the road. So no cars, just the sound of birds and the chance to see deer and buzzards in the woodland and surrounding fields. All that countryside and yet Edenbridge is easily accessible from London, with travel times of around an hour from the city centre by train or car – making this an ideal spot for restful weekend breaks in the country.
