Great family-run eco-campsite. Back-to-basics, nature & farm animals – kids loved feeding them! Friendly hosts, Dave & Simone. Basic but super clean facilities, campfires encouraged. Perfect for a quiet, off-grid escape. No complaints.

Brilliant site and lovely owners
Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Perfect location for peace and quiet and surrounded by beautiful views, David and Simone are very welcoming and made you at home, they went out the way to make sure you had everything you needed, this campsite/goat farm is so relaxing and good if you have children as they can help feed the sheep and goats, even though the amenities are basic I wouldn’t change it as it is just perfect as it is and how camping should be, there’s also fire pits that you can borrow and free wood to use to have a camp fire at night and toast some marshmallows if you want to, I wouldn’t change definitely be returning

Amazing eco campsite with the loveliest owners of the farm/camp

Liked Myself and my partner have recently found a love for camping. We really enjoy back to basics when it comes to camping and this farm really lived up to our expectations. The natural environment, compost toilets, heating your own water over a fire for the shower, the animals and fresh eggs in the mornings really made this one of the nicest experiences. David and Simone are very welcoming and you really feel at home when you’re there, always very greeting. They were kind enough to let us have a hold of the animals before we had to leave for our transport home and even offering a ride to the local bus station. Every morning you get the opportunity to help go and feed the goats, lambs/sheep. Nothing better than waking up and going to say hello to the animals. They have compost toilets which are so clean every single day and the shower is perfect if you like a bit of graft to your water hot over the fire. You can buy fresh eggs from the chickens on the farm in the mornings if there isn’t any outside you only have to knock and Simone will kindly give you some. Honestly recommend this campsite/farm for anyone who loves nature/animals/back to basic vibes. 10/10 and will 1000% be back

Liked Thoroughly enjoyed this campsite. Giving us a lovely experience especially for our first proper camping session. My two year old and seven year old boys loved it. We barely left the campsite as they enjoyed playing, exploring and feeding the animals.

Brilliant campsite, so good that we willingly visit from only 20 minutes…

Liked Brilliant campsite, so good that we willingly visit from only 20 minutes down the road for a couple of nights to get away from it all. Animal feeding happens every morning where your kids can get stuck in helping with the goats. Abundant firewood and firepits for you to use, lovely vibe, very safe for even young kids. Novel system to get hot water which was very fun.
Disliked Absolutely nothing.

Really lovely family-run eco-campsite on a farm.

Liked Really lovely family-run eco-campsite on a farm. Pitches are flat, grass is good. Toilets, showers, and washing up are all basic but perfect, and spotlessly clean. I will definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone staying on IoW.

Liked A fabulous stay with Simone and David in a beautiful setting. The time and effort Simone puts into the children to allow them to experience tending the goats was a highlight for all of us. The kids insisted on being present for each feeding, morning and evening, they loved it.
The site itself is small and friendly, leading to a safe and free environment for the children. The recycling of washing machine drums as fire pits, plus free wood allowed us to finish each day with a camp fire, which is a rarity on the Isle Of Wight.
Facilities were environmentally conscious and always very clean. Hot water was acquired through the wood fired water heating station, with a little effort put into lighting the fire and heating the water, showers and washing were simple.
A real gem of a campsite that our children have already asked to go back to!!

Liked Simone & David just brilliant hosts, so friendly & invited me on a Friday night walk from the site with a stop off at the local pub on way back for some food.
Quirky campsite & could not fault the cleanliness of the compost toilets & shower in a shed. Free fire pits & as much wood as you could burn, lovely to see the goats, pigs & sheep enjoying life. Would recommend to anyone for an off grid experience & wanting to get back to nature.
Bonus was watching the buzzard every morning flying at head head across the adjacent fields....

Liked We recently stayed at Kingston Smallholding Goat Farm Campsite for our first-ever camping trip, and it was an unforgettable experience, thanks to wonderful hosts, Simone and David. We were camping with our young family, including two kids, and Simone and David went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
As first-time campers, we were a bit nervous, but Simone and David took all the stress out of the experience. They were incredibly friendly and approachable, always ready to help with a warm smile. When we realized we had forgotten our blankets, they kindly provided us with some, ensuring we stayed warm and cosy throughout the night.
Our kids had an absolute blast, especially when feeding the goats. Simone was so gentle and patient with them, creating a safe and fun environment that the kids will cherish forever.
We can't thank Simone and David enough for making our first camping trip such a positive and memorable one. We highly recommend Kingston Smallholding Goat Farm Campsite to anyone looking for a welcoming, family-friendly camping experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Liked What can I say about this little gem 💎 it’s called the GOAT farm because it truly is the Greatest Of All Time! if you want an escape from the hustle and bustle, where the kids can roam free and life is as simple as it gets this truly is the place. Not to mention the site is fully eco friendly (bonus).
We were not only welcomed onto the farm but treated as if we were extended family whilst we were there. We received so much information about what to do and where to go on the island to ensure our stay suited all interests. We were invited to the summer fireworks by our tent neighbours and welcomed to join David (host) on a walk up to the pepper pot.
The kids took on all of the responsibilities from filling the hay bins, to feeding the animals twice a day. They enjoyed the experience of learning about the many different goat breeds whilst living as part of a community. All taking it in turns to take care of the fire to ensure the water stayed nice and warm for their evening showers after a busy day out and about and on the farm. Not to forget feeding the pigs all of our fruit leftovers.. they thourougjly enjoyed the bananas! The campfire building was a highlight and the amount of free wood you can help yourself to is unlimited! There is also a vast selection of bikes, scooters, helmets and many other sports equipment and games for the kids (and adults) to help themselves to ensuring there is always something to do! This place really brought out the creativity and imagination in all of our kids ranging from 9-16.
The goat farm, although small has packed one hell of a punch and has left us with nothing but beautiful memories, I know that our family will be back there especially my niece who now wants her own goat farm! Thank you so much guys for creating this beautiful haven, we’ll see you again soon ❤️
