  • Glamping site on a 10-acre horse farm in Hampshire’s New Forest
  • A 10-minutes drive to Paultons Park and the New Forest Wildlife Park
  • Camping kitchen and horses on site; shops and pubs 10 minutes’ drive
If the sight of horses grazing in nearby fields fills you with happiness, Langford Farm is the spot for you. Set on 10 rural acres near Woodlands in Hampshire’s New Forest National Park, this micro-glamping site is on an equestrian farm – and what’s more, the owners welcome you to tag along to meet and feed the horses. You can also watch riders schooling their steeds or show jumping in the arena, and learn as much as you like about life on a farm that also has free-roaming ducks and chickens. And of course you are just as welcome to relax and enjoy your break in the private glamping field well away from the farm. On-site amenities include showers, plus a washing machine and dryer to keep clothes looking their best. The camping kitchenette is kitted out with a fridge-freezer for guest use, as well as pretty much everything you need to conjure up simple meals. There’s a gas barbecue (pick up supplies from Lyndhurst, 10 minutes’ drive away) too so you can take your feast outside if weather permits. And let’s hope it does, because the chances are that you may just gravitate to the site’s gin bar, where there’s alfresco seating around a welcoming firepit so you can sit and chat with family or friends, or swap tales of your day's adventures with fellow campers – just remember to bring your own gin and mixers from home.

Twinkle bell tent

Liked: Sarah was very welcoming and it was lovely to turn up in the rain and go straight in without having to worry about pitching a tent up . The bell tents are large and easily accommodated a family of five . Kitchen and bathroom has everything you need too they even included some fire wood which the children enjoyed sawing . There for two nights and a lovely experience for these two days , Thank you

Disliked: More fairy lights

Great if you like animals. It felt more like camping than glamping.

Bell tent

Liked: We loved the animals, baby kittens and holding the chickens and collecting eggs. The fire pit was also great. The beds were comfortable.

Disliked: When we arrived our tent had not been cleaned but the hosts hadn’t noticed this and I had to ask to swap tents. The facilities were quite basic, but we had a nice stay.

Bell tent

Liked: Brilliant facilities for myself and my two children (age 6 and 9). Tent was spacious, clean and beds were so comfy! Outside lounge and kitchen were really useful.

Disliked: A freezer in the kitchen would be useful.
