Liked: Really friendly welcome from the campsite owners. We chose to stay in the adults only field which was a short walk from the toilets and showers. The facilities were good, the showers are outdoors but they have hot water and were very refreshing! Neil (owner) drives round early evening with firewood and pits and is super friendly. We had a great stay at the campsite which was in a great location and close to lots of nice walks, local pubs and the river for paddle boarding.

Liked: We really liked the wide open field where we could choose where to pitch. The staff were friendly and helpful. The local village pubs were excellent.
Disliked: It was unfortunate that there was a Yoga camp when we were there so the facilities became very busy.

Liked: Amazing amount of space for each pitch, if you were camping with other families you could both be on one pitch and have room. Well maintained with lots of activities (table tennis, badminton, fussball, swingball, rope swings, hammocks) for kids. Bluebell railway, Sheffield Park and 360 brewery are only mins walk away. Open air showers actually work and you can have a decent shower in them. Thanks for the stay, we had loads of fun.

Liked: Great camping spot, Lots of flat ground, Loved the outdoor showers, Good toilet facilities, Good location, Good price, I will be back again soon
Disliked: The only negative was fellow campers playing music until midnight when the camp policy is no later than 10:30. No fault of the campsite itself though.

Liked: This was my second visit to Ouse meadow and from the first contact with Neil you know you'll be in good hands. The pitches are well spaced out so you have your privacy and not over crowded. Me and my son enjoyed exploring the beautiful surrounding area. There is a ping pong table, football table and hammocks to use. Fire wood and fire pit available at a good price so you can enjoy a fire well into the night. The toilets are clean and in perfect working order. The site is peaceful and has a wilde camping feel to it. I really enjoyed camping here and will definitely be back.

Liked: Wild camping simple spacious, beautiful skys, bird songs , private lovely walks , great pub and loved the railway. If you're looking for magnificent scenery this is not for you , it is rambling quiet and gentle. Do lots of dog walking in fields, to a heritage garden, ride the beautiful Bluebell historic railway or just sit around the campfire chatting. I've thoroughly loved staying here and will do so again
Disliked: The river Ouse is sweet as it meanders through the site but not really for swimming
