Liked: Loved this small camp site. Clean and modern shower block, dishwashing facilities, honesty hut (great idea). There is picnic table by each tent pitch and wood burner. Logs can be purchased from very friendly owners. EV charger is a bonus. Great for coniston lake access. 5min walking with kayak on my back.
Disliked: Midges:). These little buggers wanted to eat me alive.

Bell tent
Liked: The quiet location and the facilities. Quick response and refund from staff.
Disliked: I couldn't stay because the bell tent was mouldy and dirty with sheep pee/poo. I was so upset and disappointed to have to leave, end my trip away and drive home. The camping and glamping space was probably quite good at one point but has not been looked after. The bell tent was mouldy on the outside and inside the smell of was unbearable and gave me a headache. I could not breathe and there was no ventilation. The LED lights were not working despite asking for new batteries and it was very dark inside. The alternative lanterns didn't provide the cosy vibe the pictures on the website had given me. The outside cooking awning was also mouldy but functional. However the bench was broken and wobbly.
