Liked: Coastal location and near to village. The site owners were very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Quite a trek on narrow hilly roads with a caravan coming from the M6. Wouldn’t advise for a novice tower. The site is fine but could do with a bit of investment, especially round the pitches, the shower blocks and some WiFi.

Liked: The quietness of the site and ease of access on entering the site, also a very short walk to the beach and a lovely little café just off site, Lattes were amazing. There Is a play area a little way off site, zip wire etc. Pub serving great food a little way down, and local shop.
Disliked: Nothing to really dislike apart from struggling to get WiFi/Internet, but I think most residents struggle In the area from what I have been told, however we still managed to get a TV signal.

Liked: It was our first visit to this lovely quiet site. The pitches were very spacious & the facilities were spotless. Marilyn who welcomed us was very friendly & informed us where everything was. It is right on the doorstep for the beach, large children's play area, cafe, pub, post office, shop & a great chippy with great prices. Would 100% recommend this site & will definitely return. Had 7 relaxing days & 6 nights & you can pitch up at 12 noon & don't have to leave until 12 noon.
Disliked: There was nothing to dislike but please note there is no WiFi service but that did not affect our lovely stay.

Liked: A great location 2 minutes from the sea and a 5 minute walk into the village with a pub, convenience store, post office and a Chippy. Haverigg beach is quite small but if you go on the beach and turn right you will end up on a path that takes you to an enormous unspoiled beach but make sure you check the tide times. If you have children there is a small park directly outside the campsite with swings, slides and climbing frames and a small cafe. I couldn’t fault the site at all as it’s well maintained and the owners are really friendly. I will definitely be returning.
