Liked: Such a lovely site! Sid greeted us on arrival, very friendly and chatty. Nice spacious hard standing pitch(level too!) each spot has its own toilet cubical in the toilet block so no sharing, very clean and modern. One shower between 5 pitches however never waited once for it. Very hot and powerful (not a push button which is a bonus) Washing facilities with Hot water too. Very close to the lakes distillery(walking distance) did told us a shortcut through the hotel and spa grounds which kept us off the main road. Recommended a close by pub, the Sun inn. Wildlife park was next door, to be honest we are good sleepers but didn’t hear any racket from it apart from a few birds but was no bother at all. Was quite pleasant to hear the monkeys in the day. Great location for most of the lakes, we walked to Keswick via Bassenthwaite lake and then the river. About an hours drive from Scafell Pike which was handy Would 100% stay again if passing through or visiting the area again. Site really is 5*
Disliked: No faults at all.

Liked: What an incredible site. Lovely layout. Nice and quiet. A personalised toilet with each pitch was an unexpected luxury. Everywhere was immaculately clean. Sid that runs the site is brilliant very helpful and very laid back. I’ve scored everything 5/5 because those that I can score do score it. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back with my family so scoring it as awesome for the kids and I don’t know if there is WiFi on site but my 4G signal was strong enough to do everything I needed to on EE so scoring that max too.
Disliked: That I was only staying one night ha ha

Liked: Quiet, tidy and spotlessly clean campsite. Sid the owner was very friendly and helpful. Each pitch is numbered and has it's only corresponding numbered toilet, which is something I think is a great idea. Shower was spacious and powerful. We found a nice circular walk from the site which was lovely on a sunny evening, with a hotel with a lovely garden to sit in for a drink a stones throw from the route we took.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: A small site with only five pitches for caravans/motorhomes, the rest are privately owned statics. Loved that each pitch had its own numbered toilet in the small toilet block - toilet and shower were very clean and shower room was very spacious. Very close to wildlife park which would be good for families with children.
Disliked: Some people might not appreciate the baboon noises in the morning from the wildlife park but that didn't bother us. We are walkers with a dog and it was difficult to find a good walk that didn't involve some walking on roads without pavements.
