Liked Lovely Host, not intrusive quiet, small yet well equipped, thoughtful touches, friendly, accommodating, good quality - clean facilities, disabled friendly fantastic views, working farm with friendly animals
Disliked Would have liked the hot tub, but WAY out of my budget, a dip in the lake sufficed

This was one of the best campsites I've stayed at, highly recommended!
Orchard powered grass tent site (two person)
Liked Fantastic location – just a short drive to Bassenthwaite Lake, Keswick, and the Wildlife Park.
Clean and convenient amenities – two showers with toilets and two additional loos, all very clean and just a few steps from our tent.
Washing-up area – spotless, and even had a freezer for ice packs. The view from there was a lovely bonus!
The Orchard camping area – peaceful and private with bushes around each pitch, creating a nice sense of space. Each pitch had astroturf (great for keeping things clean and dry), a firepit, and its own parking space nearby – very handy for unloading.
Stunning views all around – we loved waking up to such scenery.
Games room – perfect for rainy moments, with a pool table and table tennis.
Friendly farm feel – sheep passing by in the mornings and chickens wandering nearby added to the charm.
Great value for money. Clean facilities. Amazing views!
Orchard powered grass tent site (two person)
Liked Friendly staff from the moment we arrived! Views are absolutely stunning. We also booked the hot tub as an extra and we were not disappointed. Would highly recommend!! A gorgeous spot to watch the sunset. Great sized bags on kindling and logs for burning. All fire pits are free.
Disliked Only downfall was we ruined quite a few pegs with all the rocks and stones under the pitch.
Amazing site with welcoming and friendly staff
