What customers say
Chilled spot, great valley views. Basic facilities: clean loo, water from hosts, no taps. Steep walk/bus to Hebden Bridge. Some thought it dear for basics, but cleanliness, great owners & spot had many keen to return.

Great wild camping style campsite
Unpowered grass and gravel campervan, tent or trailer tent site
Liked Fantastic views over the valleys and so peaceful.
We stayed so we could get a train to Halifax for a gig and it’s only just over a mile to the train station (although it’s a very steep hill- we got an Uber for £4!) and the train took 10 mins for £6.50
It’s just a field with a few fairy lights and a very clean portaloo with ample loo roll and water. There’s no running water on site but we got a bottle of water from the hosts.
Probably only suitable for one or two nights at a time unless you have your own washing facilities but we’d defo stay again.
Disliked The big hill to get there if we walked!

Very basic field.within walking distance of Hebden Bridge.
Unpowered grass and gravel campervan, tent or trailer tent site
Liked The pitch was a lovely quiet paddock at the top of the hill. We were the only ones on the site. The view was great and the communication with the owners was great.
Disliked The price was way too much for what it is. Nothing there apart from a very clean portaloo. There’s no running water but the owner very kindly dropped off a big bottle for us.
