What customers say
This highly-rated, peaceful campsite boasts stunning views and friendly hosts. Facilities are basic (portaloos, water), perfect for short, back-to-basics trips. While many loved the quiet, the steep walk to Hebden Bridge and price for limited facilities were drawbacks. Manager noted feedback on pitch allocation and terrain.

Unpowered grass and gravel campervan, tent or trailer tent site
Liked We had a great time at Happy Valley camping. It’s a lovely picturesque rural location with terrific views across the valley.
The ground must drain well as although it rained, the grass soon dried out.
It was so peaceful and quiet with the just the sound of birds the and odd walker passing by.
June was a great host and was on hand if we needed anything.
If you want a no frills campsite (with a portaloo and bottled water provided), this is a beautiful location. As other campers have said, it is up a steep hill but so worth it for the views.

Disliked The site is up a VERY steep hill so we used a taxi to get home from the pub , cost was £9 from Mytholmroyd.
