What customers say
A top little spot for a quiet escape! Mick & Heather are legends, super friendly and helpful. Basic but spotless facilities. The bumpy track's worth it for the peace, stunning views, and secure entry. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

Fair Value for money for budget site.
Unpowered grass caravan site
Liked Very rural setting with great view over Bradford. Friendly welcoming host.
Pitch was flat and easy.
I was only person on site as solo female. Felt safe with security and offer of host to call anytime if needed.
Pub at end of road had lost our online booking but tried hard to accommodate despite being rammed.
Disliked Very Bumpy drive. Ok if taken slowly.
Portaloo a bit smelly and quite full but otherwise all clean and appreciate the efforts to look attractive.

Unpowered grass caravan site
Liked 10 out of 10!
We had car trouble leaving Brighton and arrived 6 hrs late in the dark. We couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome, they were so kind and helpful. A truly beautiful area with walks and cycle paths from the lovely site and a very good pub 5 minutes walk away. A flower planter beside each pitch was such a nice touch. Salt Mills a bike ride away is not to be missed.

Lovely site but could be improved as the site gains popularity.
Unpowered grass trailer tent or tent site
Liked The man who greeted us was very friendly and welcoming
The area itself was very secluded and we both really liked this.
We really enjoyed our stay
We liked talking to other people that were staying as well
The pub nearby the Junction was lovely, they had a band playing which we enjoyed.
It wasn’t too far from the car park to the pitch, there was a wheelbarrow to use to carry items which was good.
Despite the negatives we would return again
Disliked The toilets weren’t great as they were portaloos. They had a strong smell, no toilet roll and wouldn’t flush. No light in the toilet at night so had to make sure we had our torches.
The path from the toilet/car park to the tent pitch was slippy.
The particular pitch we stayed on wasn’t flat but I cannot comment on other pitches.
I didn’t like that we were literally locked in the site and had to ring to leave/access, but some people may feel safer with this aspect.
The road to access the site could be improved.
