Liked: 2nd time we've been to this site loved the scenery and the peace and quiet no arrival time no kick off time just come and go as you please so no stresses and no pressure. Portaloos are topped up every so often for basic needs other wise not disturbed and left to get on with your holiday
Disliked: Nothing at all

Liked: The field, the dog walking area.
Disliked: The facilities, minging toilets ! Overpriced for what it is, tenner at the most

From the manager: I’m sorry you believe our toilets to be ‘minging’. They are cleaned twice daily and we found no issues during your time of stay with us. Our prices are reviewed regularly and found to be inline with other sites in the area providing comparable facilities.

Liked: Quiet spot
Disliked: Toilets were filthy. We’re used to basic and portaloos but expect them to be clean. Neither were acceptable- even if one was clean that would be ok… no drinking water either though this is mentioned in the small print somewhere. A shame as the situation is lovely though exposed. We abandoned in the end. We’d cycled all day so wanted at least the basics to be available..disappointing.

From the manager: I’m sorry you were unhappy with our facilities and chose not to stay with us. As explained in our email to you, we clean our toilets twice daily but unfortunately on occasions incidents can occur in between these times. Again, as explained, a simple phone call could have resolved this immediately. It is unfortunate that your review was not made after actually staying with us and experiencing what we have to offer.
