Cedar Close fully-serviced concrete slab caravan site (water hook-up)
Liked The hard ground pitches were perfect for the rainy weather. Lots of space for awning and car.
We have been before so knew that the children would have lots of entertainment with the park and football pitch. The walk around the park is mapped out too which is perfect for a walk with the dogs.
There was a themed evening to raise money for Macmillan which we were invited to before our stay (which gave us a chance to get a costume sorted). This was a fantastic evening.
The food and drink in the pub/restaurant is absolutely gorgeous too (Michelle made some fab cocktails).
If you're wanting a holiday where you know your children can play safely on a secure, enclosed site, that offers entertainment and good food and drink then you cannot go wrong.
Also, you're minutes from beautiful villages like Blanchland. We absolutely LOVE it!

Cedar Close fully-serviced concrete slab caravan site (water hook-up)
Liked Lovely place. Huge pitches. Me my partner and small dog stayed for 3 nights. Everyone was very friendly from checking in to in and around the caravan park. Nice little dog walk you can access on the campsite. Pub/restaurant on site. We didn't try the food but did sit out on the terrace and enjoyed a drink. Shower/toilets very big and spacious and also very clean. There's a park onsite which is quite big and looks great for children. Overall the campsite was very friendly and felt safe.

If your looking for some peace and quite then this is the place
Hazel Court powered grass and gravel caravan site
Liked Lovely peaceful site, very clean and friendly staff, the gym is small but plenty of equipment. Nice bar and outside seating area and there's a lovely walk in the woods around the site. Showers are great with plenty of room in them and without the dreaded push button. Childrens play park was very good and the children were safe to play.
Disliked Nothing really. Showers could do with some hooks for towels near them. The gate to the football pitch needs checking as it has to be swung up to open, the wind caught it and came down on his back and grazed his back quite a bit.
The roads up to the site are very narrow if your towing a caravan just take it slow and steady

Lovely little site
Springhouse 2 bedroom static caravan
Liked Walk of site and your surrounded by trees and wildlife, plenty of deer if you’re out early enough, it’s a runners and walkers delight, all the paths are well maintained and assessable with a suitable pushchairs. Great location, far enough out the way with Hexham town a short car journey away. Lovely friendly site, it felt safe for kids to play without constant eyesight supervision (I have older children) with a nice little park for the younger kids. Staff are friendly and the whole site is clean and tidy with lots of rabbits playing and running around.
We have no complains with the accommodation, it’s was clean, fresh, beds were comfy and plenty of utensils etc in the kitchen.
Disliked No dislikes!
Just suggest a mat at the door for muddy trainers
