Liked: The staff were great, lovely lady on reception and the bar staff were equally pleasant and helpful. The site is nicely laid out and kept spotless. The toilets and showers were incredible, the best I have ever seen, I thought I had strayed into some Park Lane hotel. The whole standard was incredible for a very reasonable price, just wish it was closer so that I could use it more often.
Disliked: Ridiculous things follow and they are not meant as a derogatory attack, just to let the site management know that they could improve even further. The digital number locks on the facility doors could do with illuminated key pads and the socket on the EHU was underneath the box about 400mm off the floor making cable connection a chore. Probably not a problem for most but when you are getting on in life both these issues quickly become niggles.

Liked: Nice clean site with a Bar & Restaurant - the food is good value and was of good standard. There was also Crazy golf putting, Toilets and showers were quite clean however my wife had to unclog 1 of the sinks as it was full of hair and almost over flowed. The showers were good with hot water (almost too hot) The site is vast with it being mainly static homes, think I counted 300+ The grounds were very well kept and we were looking forward to this site out of all of the sites we'd booked. Reception did try to accomodate our request for another pitch but were too full to put us on a differerent pitch so we had to stay put.
Disliked: If your in a campervan your pitch is basically an unlevel car park with electric hook up. Toilets were locked all day and night with a key code which is a pain as they weren't well lit up at night. The ladies showers were not cleaned in the 2 days we were there. It's supposed to be Quiet site after 10.30 however next doors van and the seasonal caravan behind them decided it would be ok to party loudly until 12 a.m. Didn't see the warden once in the evening/night to complain but decided wasn't worth it as we were leaving the following morning. There are a lot of rules which is fine as long as everyone abides by them and you'd of thought seasonal guests would know. This site is totally geared up for static seasonal guests and I personally think as a campervan touring this site is expensive for the poor pitch we got, sadly I doubt we will return.

Liked: Really nice facilities, the toilet and shower block were fantastic Good if you have children. If there changed the dog situation I would book again
Disliked: When we booked in we were immediately told our dog wasn't allowed in the bar or restaurant area due to a children's indoor play area and kids running around near dogs isn't a good mix so I asked were they allowed on the terraced area which is outside of the play area and told NO but if I want food or a drink I can get a takeaway and sit on the benches near the kids play park if the weather is OK! So I thought we'll it's a bit strange that dogs and drinks glasses are allowed right near the kids play park where kids are running around but not inside and the weather was too cold to sit and eat outside ! I later found out there is an adults only bar so I asked the question are dogs allowed in there and told no as kids will be running around but when I stressed it is adults only they said no sorry they don't want dogs in as it is more like a hotel !! There was a singer on in the main bar on the Saturday night and people with dogs where being turned away and they couldn't watch it ! I feel this sites is definitely not dog friendly and they just don't want people with dogs in the bar or restaurant area ! We were next to a single parent who had 2 young children and a dog and the children couldn't use the indoor play area due to the dog not bing allowed in and it was too hot to leave the dog in the camper van, we ate in a Michelin star restaurant nearby and the dog was allowed in there ! We were looking forward to using the facilities and watching the entertainment but unfortunately couldn't due to our dog and we can't leave him in the caravan as he would bark and I wouldn't be inconsiderate to other people around us. I also felt the space between the tourers and camper vans wasn't big enough there felt a bit closed in on the area we were !
