What customers say
This tidy, peaceful campsite boasts generous spots with stunning country outlooks. Reviewers rave about the spotless, top-notch loos and showers. Great base for exploring the Northumbrian coast and castles, handy to the A1. Despite a few minor water pressure or sink quibbles, most want to come back.

Lovely little site, would definitely recommend
Powered grass caravan site
Liked Lovely little site, very friendly owners who came over to say hello. The toilets and showers were lovely! Great location for a day in Alnwick and not that far from Bamburgh Castle.
Disliked A little bit damp on the grass pitches end of October so we had to push to get going but that's just an issue anywhere this time of year on a grass pitch!

Brilliant site, great location for Alnwick visits and fab beaches
2 bedroom camping pod (four person)
Liked The pod, the location, it was great. The set up inside the pod is cleverly done to feel like it’s bigger than it looks from outside. The whole site is a lovely setup.
Disliked I can’t say there’s anything we disliked

From the manager: Hi,
Thank you for taking the time to review our family run little site. I am very sorry that you felt it was ‘soulless’. I can honestly say I have never had this as a comment before. It is owed a ran by myself and I love nothing more than seeing how full of life the site is throughout the year, however during October, which is when you stayed, we close most of the site off as we are grass pitches. I only allow 3 pitches to be open and most of the time guests enjoy the peace and tranquility hence why they come at this time of year. The wildlife that surrounds the site in Autumn is my favourite as it is much less busy so they potter around the site. I pop out onto the site everyday as we live right next door. If I see guests I chat but I don’t go and knock on anyone’s campers doors. If the free WiFi wasn’t working then all you had to do was give me a call or message and I could have popped out and had a look. I’m very sorry to see you wouldn’t recommend or want to stay again but I’m wondering if a peaceful, small country site in October maybe isn’t your cup of tea. Thanks, Katryna

2 bedroom camping pod (four person)
Liked Loved the layout and interior design, and loved the underfloor heating. What a fantastic pod. We absolutely loved our time there and would love to return. Its cosy, quiet, loads of space for kids to run around, brilliant hands off customer service approach and we found everything we needed including great WiFi for our stay. Loved the BBQ / firepit beside our pod and the immediate toasted marshmallow kit that we ordered with a simple SMS to the owners.
Disliked Can't fault it.

A little gem!
Unpowered grass caravan site
Liked Lovely quiet campsite set back from A1. Level pitch. Great modern unisex wet rooms, which were spotless, with hot showers. Polite signage...not lots of laminated sheets telling you what not to do!
Disliked No check in as such...didn't see the owners.
