Liked: Excellent campsite, basic, but little things that make a difference had been thought of, such as an outside basin with tap and soap next to the very clean portaloos, an outdoor kitchen area under a gazebo, and a covered area with tables and chairs. None of this detracted from the simple camping experience that this site offered.

Liked: If you like quiet rural campsites with a minimum of facilities then this is the place for you.
lovely setting - about an hours walk to Sandsend along very quiet roads, on wed sat and sunday you can go through the woods of the local estate for free down to Sandsend. It really is a stunning walk.
Nice roomy pitches in the field. nice people run it and work hard to make it a lovely place to be
Disliked: it's on a bit of a slope.
there is a tiny bit of road noise
