What customers say
Bloke-friendly campsite loved for its roomy, tidy spots, giving privacy & peace. Toilets/showers are always spotless. Guests dig the chill vibe, with easy walks to pubs & a sweet riverside spot. Only grumble? A few blokes said showers might get busy when it's packed.

Quiet, clean dog friendly site that's ideal for exploring Suffolk
Powered grass site
Liked Very quiet and clean with loads of space - ideal if you have a dog. We stayed on a pitch with EHU but the wildlife area, where you camp amongst trees/ hedges etc, looked really good. We plan to return to try that out. The EHU pitches seem to be quite small but I suspect that's because they don't fill them up and leave pitches free between bookings so the grass recovers. We had plenty of space between us and our neighbours. It feels very remote but it's only a couple of miles from the A12, a retail park and few minutes drive to Woodbridge and Ipswich.

Liked Naturalistic & quiet setting was lovely. Well kept, beautifully clean & organised facilities. Sadly only stopped over for one night as moving through Suffolk. A short drive to visit Sutton Hoo & Woodbridge. Definitely want to get back & stay longer next time.

Brilliant site, cleanest we’ve been to, great pitch choices & location
Wildlife unpowered grass site
Liked We could choose anywhere we liked to park & it was so quiet & beautiful just the birds to listen to !
The cleanest showers & toilets we’ve ever come across on a wild campsite, electric showers too, so always hot & a roomy cubicle with plenty of space to hang clothes & sit to dress etc
Separate toilet block so no steamy damp loos !
The barrier passcode meant no booking in etc! so easy to come & go as you please.
Never actually saw any staff as everything was done online
1/2 hour walk to the May Bush pub on the river Deben well worth a visit & the lovely Woodbridge!

A great spot. Adults only. Spacious and clean. And quiet. A must visit

Liked My second stay here. And you can not fault it. It’s a very friendly site.
Lots of space to spread out. With areas to have secluded spots. Then there is the Orchard with its well needed shade.
There are plenty of areas with electric hook up for motor homes and caravans etc.
The site is well maintained. And facilities are kept clean throughout the day.
With a great toilet block and washing up facilities and a small freezer for those who need the ice blocks refrozen.
There are FREE showers in a separate block which are well designed with area for your clothes so they don’t get wet and a nice seat to sit on when drying off.
Outside there is a Tap to fill your bottles.
A large area opposite the toilets with bins, recycling, grey water and portaloo emptying with hose to rinse. And an ash box for your firepit and bbq ash.
A lovely river walk from the site to the local pub The Maybush with great views over the river a tiny beach and great to watch the sailing yachts.
Everyone was nicely spaced out. Such a great site.
Shopping you had Aldi, m&sfood also and Tesco at the next roundabout up on the main road. And a great park and park into Ipswich but has barrier off 2m. Woodbridge is lovely town too.
Plenty of places to visit from Framlington to Southwold, Thropeness and Alborough. Orford is lovely to.
Disliked Nothing to dislike.
Not the greatness of wifi reception. But you’re there to get away from it all.
