What customers say
This chill, tidy country campsite gets props for its quiet vibe, roomy spots, and spick-and-span basic amenities. Owner Fred's a legend – friendly, helpful, always on hand. Great spot for a stroll, close to a local pub. Heard a few USAF jets now and then.

Unpowered grass tent site
Liked Very welcoming and helpful owner, who couldn't have been more helpful. A very quiet location on a quiet road in a small village, lots of walks nearby. A nice play park across the road which my 8 year old son loved playing on. Facilities were clean and well maintained and the shower was hot. Perfect if you like the minimalist, peaceful camping experience. Very well priced. Both me and my son left wanting to come back again. Would highly recommend

Unpowered grass motorhome site
Liked Lovely quiet country site with all the amenities you need for a peaceful stay. Fred the owner came over when I arrived and talked me through everything including all the local walks (great map provided too). Lovely area for walks! One of the best sites I’ve stayed at .. a real gem … and I will definitely be back. Attention to detail too with a marquee in the centre with bench seats if you wanted to get out of the sun.
Disliked Nothing to dislike at all

Great site
Unpowered grass motorhome site
Liked Lovely site in the middle of village called Thompson. Met on site by the owner "Fred" who gave useful information for during our stay. Basic facilities, immaculately kept, couldn't ask for more we will deffo visit again. Nice touch having picnic benches dotted around. We did the Pingo Trail whilst there so was ready for a drink after 9 miles in the heat.
Disliked Having to leave.

Site owner very helpful
Disliked Didn't really bother me but some may find the ablutions too basic, toilets fully working within a portaloo surround and the shower was within a portaloo unit

Quiet and friendly site in a beautiful part of Norfolk.
Unpowered grass motorhome site
Liked Location, Friendliness and helpfulness.
Fred, the owner, gives you a great welcome and provides local information.
The site is clean and tidy and well laid out. There are bench tables to eat at if you are feeling social.
My wife and I walked the Pingo Trail and ended up at the pub 8.5 miles later for a great lunch and couple of pints of ale each. It was a lazy afternoon thereafter.
The site was quiet and about 1/3rd full at most while we were there a good place to relax.
Please note;- There is only one loo for men and one for ladies plus a single shower for all but while we were there it was more than enough. Always very clean and tidy.
Disliked Nothing. We'll be back.
