Fire pit hire, perfect for chilliwr evenings and marshmallow-toasting.

You can rent a fire pit with logs for £15 then £5 per bag of logs. the bag was huge.

Liked: Extremely welcoming, accommodating and friendly owners made us feel at home. The campsite was beautifully located, very clean, with all well kept amenities you could need, quiet, with beautiful beaches a short drive away.

Liked: Lovely site,loads of space.Small toilet and shower facilities but what there is is nicely kept.pub ten mins walk down the road in Trunch.Mundsley and the sea 35 minuit walk just over 2 miles.Great and peaceful place to stay.

Liked: Really lovely site, peaceful and pretty. Pub nearby, the fire pit was a great addition and very reasonable. Lots of lovely walks from the area. Definitely will return. Ideal for a weekend/short stay.

Liked: Extremely large pitches, so plenty of space, it is a huge field and there were not many guests when we stayed, so had lovely uninterrupted views of the fields around. We hired a firepit which came with a large bag of logs, plenty for 3 nights, they also had bags of marshmallows for sale, that handily came with skewers. Christine was very friendly and came round each day to check that we were OK. The facilities were adequate for the number of guests that were on site when we stayed and we didn't need to queue, although with only 2 toilets and 1 shower in the ladies block, this could be an issue if there were a lot more people on the site. There was only 1 sink in the toilet block and it was incredibly small, so if someone was brushing their teeth you had to wait to wash your hands, no sink in the shower cubicle. Would definitely recommend this site and would also stay here again, a great base for all the beaches in the area

Local attractions

When it comes to getting stuck into the north Norfolk coast, you might want to get a ticklist going…there’s Overstrand beach and Walcott beach to see and crabbing on the pier in Cromer (all 15 minutes' drive). Keep ticking them off: the lighthouse in Happisburgh (20 minutes), seal spotting at Blakeney Point (40 minutes) and Waxham (35 minutes) or sandy beaches at Sea Palling (half an hour) and Wells-next-the-Sea (55 minutes). The latter has a gorgeous fishing port running seal-watching trips. Inland’s just as excellent. There’s a generous handful of National Trust properties within driving distance of Meadow View, plus ways to get out onto The Broads in Wroxham (half an hour). You might want to board the Bure Valley Railway there or join The North Norfolk Steam Railway in Sheringham (25 minutes). For all you budding historians, Weybourne (half an hour) has the Muckleburgh Military Collection too. Family-friendly ventures are easily sourced, with various entertainments in North Walsham (10 minutes), treetop adventures at BeWILDerwood Norfolk (half an hour) and all the attractions in Great Yarmouth (50 minutes) like Pleasure Beach, Britannia Pier and Sea Life Great Yarmouth.

Safety

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.

General

Discount cards and gift vouchers cannot be applied to bookings made via Pitchup.com.

Dogs

Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.

Firearms are not permitted.
Fires, barbecues and/or firepits will not be permitted in dry, windy and/or hot weather conditions.
Guests are advised to bring a good quality torch with them as parts of the campground/park are unlit.
If making a fire, the fuel, logs and coal have to be purchased on site.

If reception is closed on arrival: please contact the number provided on your booking confirmation.

General

In the event of a complaint, please speak to reception immediately. Complaints which are not brought to the management's attention during your stay cannot be dealt with once you have left the site.

Arrivals and departures

Late arrivals must notify the park as soon as possible. Your booking will be held for 24 hours. After this period the management reserves the right to relet your unit.

Minimum spacing of 6 metres between pitches.

Quiet hours must be respected between 10:30 p.m. and 8 a.m..
Radio, music and TV players must be kept at a low volume. Car doors and boots must be closed quietly.

Dogs

The campground/park does not accept breeds/crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act (i.e. Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, and Fila Brasileiro) and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa.
