What customers say
A ripper, quiet, clean, and friendly adults-only campsite on a working farm. Reviewers rave about the spick-and-span facilities, generous pitches, and the owners' warm welcome and helpfulness. Great local info and dog walks. Expect occasional farm sounds, but it's generally peaceful. Farm produce shop's a winner. Many want to come back.

Liked Received a text to say where to go on arrival. Met by a fella who explained the facilities.
Disliked We drove on. My husband went to the toilets. We stayed long enough to find another site and drove off.
The toilets where filthy
The pitches weren’t great

From the manager: Sorry the facilities were not up to your expectations. We check the campsite toilets at least 5 times a day and feel 1/10 is harsh. Many other guests have given us 10/10.
We understand that the campsite you went on to after ours you gave 3/10, and out of the last 10 reviews you have written on Pitchup - 4 reviews have been less than 3/10. On other sites you complained about moving pitch after only booking one night and then extending. You complained about people walking past your motorhome so you felt that you could not sit outside with the dog. Unfortunately, the nature of campsites are usually communal.
Running a campsite is hard work but also fun meeting people and we rely on good feedback for guests to visit us so we feel this review is unjust and unlike many of our campsite previous reviews.

Would happily return
Powered concrete slab caravan site
Liked After receiving comprehensive details for our arrival first thing in the morning by text, we were warmly welcomed at the entrance and the site facilities were clearly pointed out.
We enjoyed a quiet night once the nearby road traffic had reduced. The pitch was pretty level and a reasonable size and the facilities, although basic, were very clean and tidy. We didn’t use the laundry though so not sure about that.
Great dog walks directly from the site, strong WiFi was readily available along with a good tv signal.
We would very happily return and recommend.
